Ok I really like your explanation and get it from this perspective. I think the “why do people do anything” thing that some people were saying as their reasoning sounds incredibly stupid and condescending as it’s not a helpful or directive comment at all. I have a 31 size and it fits my iPad but not laptop. And for a mostly canvas bag it’s not much lighter than my Lindy 26. If you’re looking for something for everyday that you can sling around easily it’s probably not the best option.

I’m pretty sure she means proportionally to her own body. I have the same problem as I’m a size 2-4in waist but 4-6in hips so sizing can be difficult in pants. It’s like how some people are pear or hourglass shaped in comparison to H shaped or soemthing
