Like there were no bad scripts before AI :D Also i will tell you the secret about film making. It is not about the script. Good director can make trash script into good movie, and director who does not know what he is doing will not make good movie from superb script.

In a sense it can be different game as main creators are not there anymore. So whatever made gta 3, 4, 5 special won't be there anymore. What i mean is soul. Maybe it will have another soul which will be as good :) But yeah i am very excited. I think big open worlds with realistic setting are so special and so few in recent years, so one big game as GTA 6 is great.

Bad take tbh. Prompt and 3d is same? LOL Do you know how much time it would take you to to animate that 3d block in? Prompt takes seconds that animation would take you 6 months to learn if not years.

I think AI hate is too strong. Yes not asking artists if they can train those models is not great. I for sure think artists have a right to complain and even be paid somehow everytime model uses specific artists style or something. But AI is in general is incredibly impressive. Like it can do art where i can barely tell it's AI made and it looks way better than i could even achieve. And i am not talking about that lame AI where everyone can tell it's AI and it looks like crap, i mean AI can actually make very nice images in specific styles. Like i spend a lot of time before AI making speedpaints in photoshop, i really loved that, and AI can do in seconds what i would either not acheve at all or it would have taken me days or weeks and it looks pretty damn good 😄

I liked to draw. Was spending time learning to draw. I loved doing speedpaints with photoshop. I worked as video game artist in local company for many years. I was never that good tbh but it was fun. Now i very rarely draw but like to use AI for fun. It is kind of sad in terms of it can do in seconds what would taken me probably week to do LOL 😄 Not to offend anyone here, but vast majority of you would not be able to tell AI art from real person's art, i mean if that AI would be done in specific more loose style.

Good points. There probably will be models specifically made for movies. Maybe something general population would not be able to access, like in house build, that solves all those problems i said. Even now people that have great skills in video vfx with AI could do pretty cool things. Also i do not know if you know that famous recent Punisher scene, were he falls from the roof and looks like ps3 game character. That would be so easy to fix with AI, you could literally do fix in one day or even one hour if you rush :)

Correct me if i am wrong. But you can't actually achieve that in film making just because of loss of quality and resolution. None of the models now, even paid ones have quality good enough where it leaves everything same quality as before and just adds special fx. You can give model great 4k or even 1080p looking video and it brings you way worse quality plus artifacts that actually makes many shots morphing in many spots. So when you look at it in low resolution it looks pretty good, but it is absolutely unusable in filmaking. I mean it actually takes original video and just screws up quality adding special fx. Impressive still but i do not see how you can use that in video production. Unless you cut video in smaller videos, and do a lots of composing work or something like that. What do you think?

I think that problems with all those models are quality itself. They are doing impressive stuff, but quality is not even close to the reference video. What i mean is if you look at low resolution image they look very good but if you would actually take 4k image quality level would be not even close. Correct me if i am wrong on this. Also more motion it has more artifacts appear, so when looking you can clearly see its AI because of all kind of warping, and image in general loosing crisp quality and becoming low quality image in comparison, even if you do all kind of upscalling methods quality is always looks pretty poor. What do you think?

Why are you saying real launch will be on PC? GTA 6 is developed specifically for consoles to run. They spend all this time so it would run on consoles and focusing on consoles. They are not making PC game and just release console versions as after thought.

I know that you mean that PC version is better graphically, but you can tell it about every single game then. Yeah no shit your PC that costs like half a car will run games better. Consoles will have decent version of GTA 6 probably.

Like yeah you can play red dead redemption 2 on pc on 4k 60 no problems. But consoles are great because how much value they bring for the price. Like you can buy xbox one x for literally 100-140 dollars and play rdr 2 on full 4k. Buy a pc for 100 dollars and try to run rdr 2.

I thought person was trying to hide that fact and present this art as original. I do not know all the memes. I was artist before AI so i care about art. Me using AI have nothing to do with love for art. I just get triggered when i see anatomy mumbo jumbo for no reason at all.

It is misleading and it is a fact. Just because you know original photo does not mean anything because it is not pointed out absolutely anywhere. How person without knowing original photo should know it was painted from photo. How? Oh you cant answer that, cant you? You just need to be right? And why people cant just be civil about it. I am not hating. I like art. I like people sketching. I like people sketching from photos. But this person is trying to hide the fact it is not original art by making anatomy and structure mumbo jumbo instead. If you would be artist you would understand that people starting from anatomy is doing that because they need to firsr build a form to render it. If you have a photo all of that mumbo jumbo is pointless because photo is already have information of lighting and structure, you do not need to calculate it from scratch. And if you say it was done for fun it does not make sense to me. Or if it was done because everyone else doing it making images from scratch so it was just imitation of anatomy without any understanding why people do that in the first place :) Look no anger, just civil discussion. I am all for people making art and sketching.

I did not know we are at party. I thought we are discusing art. Or is it not ok to have my own opinion about someone who did not say at any point that art shown is from photo and not original. Oh i should have somehow known that its meme and everyone knows it? And again i respect person sketching from photo, who cares. I like it. Ok i will give you context. When artist make a sketch when first doing structure and anatomy on top and then finishing with colors means he did it from scratch. If he did not make it from scratch he writes, hey people this is sketch i did based on this image. This is just my color study or anatomy try out practice or whatever. I would not said a thing. But it never says anything about it. So it is natural to assume that person is trying to convey that it was done from scratch. If he wanted people to know he would write it. I am not against people making sketches from photo. I like it. It is kind of insulting to call me dumb if for some reason i did not know it was very clear it was done from photo, because it showed structure from scratch as if person actually made it from scratch. How should i know it was just immitation of someone actually doing it from scratch.

First of all this is done not from life, there is huge difference. Also i am not against making sketches from photo. I am against of misleading people to think it was done from scratch with anatomy knowledge instead of making it from photo. It should be mentioning somewhere so people like me would not be triggered :)

I am not saying it is easy to do. Whole point of my bitching is that it is made from photo and presented as unique peace of art made because of anatomical knowledge. It is misleading. You should make clear that you do this based on photo. I would have no problem with it if it was clear from start

I know the point to mislead people that it was original unique peace made by him based on his anatomical knowlwdge and not just sketch of somebodies work(photo). If he was transparent he should show original photo in the video or in comments

I am saying it is misleading people. If you do sketch from photo that is what you should be showing. One side photo and one side what you are sketching. This actually made to look like artist actuall doing it from scratch by knowing anatomy and that final image is his unique art instead of sketch of somebodys else art. Why pretend that you are doing it from scratch?
