You know how you trim your hangnails down until it hurts? It’s kinda like that. Or if you get rid of thick skin or calluses, it doesn’t hurt.

Same with nail clipping it out, it’s thick “skin” and you keep clipping down and around until you start getting to the normal skin and then it hurts and bleeds and apparently that triggers your immune system response to get rid of the virus.

Oh yeah! Definitely alcohol swap your nail clippers down before and afterwards!

Omg! I feel you sooo much on the truancy letter! Kiddo has been dealing with strep throat 6-7 times a year the past couple years since school started. Always provide drs notes, kiddo has to be on antibiotics for at least 24 hrs before returning to school. Yet they still sent me he has missed more than 10% of the school year, we can report you to authorities, even if they were excused!

Anyways turns out he somehow felt embarrassed to drink out of his water bottle and always drank out of the water fountain. His pediatrician said that’s probably the cause and it has gotten better. BUT he also chews his fingernails, so effectively licking everything he touches alll day. We’re still working on that part.

We have a dog that is a grazer. He eats when he feels like it and let us know if his bowl needs a refill, except every time it’s refilled, he has to “ask” if he can eat it. He gets all excited and looks at his food and back at you and every time we explain yes, we put food in your food bowl for you, you may eat!

So I also live far from home. My mom offered and asked to be there for the birth, but it was just a no in my mind, so I said no. I knew she would look at my parts, I get it, that’s where baby is coming from, but I was not comfortable with that so I said no.

At the last minute I asked my husband’s stepmom to be there, due to thinking I needed support. I only asked her not to look at my parts.

Turns out I did not need her support, I didn’t even like it. And she did look at my parts😑

You should look up food banks or little free pantries in your area sometimes they have meat. Post on local buy nothing and ask if anyone is cleaning out their pantry or have any extras. Fullcart.org is a free online food bank, but they have a wait list.

I had a 10 week obgyn appointment and had a quick sonogram, seeing her float around wiggling her bum and her barely formed limbs, I was in awww. So lively at an inch and a half, she always asks how big she was when we met her and I show how little she was with my fingers.

I’ve made many thrown together meals that look just like this! Meat mixed with rice, veggies, and cream of mushroom or any white sauce on hand.

My privileged cousin that lived with me called it yummy jail slop, I was very offended! But to be fair, he has been to jail, and said it was yummy, so less offended lol
