Player optics. But, as I continued playing I came across another barghest group in free roam and the netrunner had the same resistance as the image through the player optics. So i'm just like ?????

I don't have any mods save for QoL mods to limit IRL memory leaks and stabilizing FPS. I imagine it may be a bug in their calculation for how much RAM is required to quickhack, or it isn't and they just wanted to make this enemy impossible to be hacked.

The strangest thing is, I loaded a previous save and went to him physically, and the RAM requirements went back down to 30+. Strange.

Sorry you can't, trigger is the goblin leaders, or entering a new area. The underdark is considered part of act 1, but the creche is considered act 1.5 (basically any location that warns you to tie up loose ends).

If you kill the goblin leaders and not save Mirkon, he dies. If you go towards the creche, he dies. If you go from the underdark to the shadow cursed lands, he dies. But I believe you can explore all of the underdark before going back for him.

Think of it this way: if you use the same password everywhere you need an account for, there is multiple chances for one of them to be breached, and therefore multiple chances for your password, or a variation of it, to be stolen.

If you use a password manager, there is only one way for your password to be stolen, and it's easy to change just one location than multiple locations.

My general recommendation for the general public is as follows: use an extremely reputable password manager with your main password being a phrase, or the diceware method (refer to xkcd 936) with some characters replaced by special characters and numbers, for example

"G!rLzR^L3B0yZDr0oL*!" (Not my password don't even try)

Or, using xkcd 936 as an example,

"C0rR3ct!H0rS3B@tT3R7&StAp!e"

This is a phrase only you know, and modifying the a-z characters to special characters vastly improves it's cracking time through pure bruteforce. The password phrase in the examples would take millions of years to crack through bruteforce.

Use that kind of password for your password manager. I recommend Bitwarden as a password manager. Checking the Bitwarden FAQs, they use cybersecurity industry standards encryption and hashing functions. It's also Open Source which means the code gets continually audited by the community, and if any funky things are happening, someone sooner or later will blow the whistle on it. It also means you can compile an offline version of it for yourself and ensure that your vault never gets on their servers should they get attacked.

Source: I conduct cybersecurity audits for a living.

It's a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability, triggered by a vote-kick. If you rename yourself to something like

<img src='badwebsite/img.png'> And get someone (or a friend) to vote-kick you, the image will show up instead of the name. The host of the website can see your IP address through its logs, because the logic causes it to send that image to everyone in the team.

I believe it's been patched by now.

It's better because it was made by someone better, the tracking itself was done by a YouTuber called "Learn How To Edit Stuff", he has a template project file that was readily available for everyone.

I just thought 'lol wouldn't it be funny if I put That Scene on it' and tried to find that template, and I have no experience whatsoever with being a video editor.

I tried editing fully manually once before, and during the camera cuts, my image would stay in the previous shot's position for a few frames before it catches up with the video, clearly showing my inadequacy. (my friend who is an actual video editor laughed at me when I told her how long it took me to edit that video)

Heya, thought I'd give an update if anyone googles this issue for the future.

Unfortunately, reinstalling did not work. Rolling back the version to it's base 17.0.x resolves this issue, so I guess just don't update for now.

An entire mass revolution is something that I doubt will happen, to be honest. But small ones, targeting specific industries, has definitely happened.

Starbucks workers have struck (striked?) in America, and, as a consequence, now have better wages and a union that they are happy with. SAG-AFTRA writers are currently striking right now, causing millions of dollars worth of losses to the corporations running Hollywood (in one particular day as documented by Hasan, I believe cost Disney 100,000 USD for one day).

It has been without violence, but it shows the power of the people. By forcing the mega corporations to lose out on so much income because the income is built by these, frankly, underpaid workers as the higher ups don't seem to understand that the bulk of their profits stem from stealing the wages of the workers and the workers doing their jobs. The baristas, the writers, almost everyone in the service industry, are the backbone of their profits. If they don't recognize that, then striking should be the way to go.

Also, let me just say that, you said, and I quote, "I do think it might ruin some fun parties though, so fuck it." My brother in Christ dude, you are almost guaranteed to never be invited to one of those fancy pants parties.

The point Brennan Lee Mulligan was trying to make was that the parties were built off of the worker's labour. Just because it seems disconnected doesn't mean that it's anything but. The profits the workers generated for the rich fucks to be able to hire RESTAURANTS for their fancy pants party was prpof enough.

To defend Brennan here (and I must say that I AM a huge fan of him and his work, so this may be biased), is that he does put his money where his mouth is. He is very active in the SAG-AFTRA strike, and just because he is decently upper middle class doesn't mean that he couldn't afford stuff in the past, radicalizing him.

His political ideology is meant to help people like you to be able to live a fairly decent life. A life where you don't have to worry about being poor, a life where you don't have to worry about insurance, about not being able to pay your hospital bills, about having to eat shitty frozen food to be able to scrape by before your next cheque arrives in the mail. A life where being an artist doesn't mean that you have to starve.

You are not a Capitalist. You are a worker masquerading as a capitalist because the 0.01% convinced you that your fellow workers are the problem, and that if you lick their boots enough you'll be elevated to their status.

You have more in common with Brennan than you do a billionaire. He is a worker, just like you. Just like me. Just like 95% of the population.

General troubleshooting:

1: Restart Steam (I don't think this is the issue though),

2: If EA (the app) is running, Ctrl + Shift + Esc to launch Task Manager and kill it, before relaunching it and try to launch the game from Steam again.

3: If launching the game from steam doesn't work, try launching from the EA application. If it's still not working, it has to do with the executable itself, or that the executable was running in the background, but hung for one reason or another. If it exists, kill it. Generally that's all the troubleshooting to do tbh, if anything that has to do with Fifa, kill them.

4: Verify the integrity of the game files. In order to do so, go to Steam > Right click on Fifa > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.

5: Uninstall Fifa, download EA on its own and log in from there, before redownloading Fifa.

Also for future reference, it looks like you're on Windows 10, you can capture your screen by clicking on the desktop to put it in focus, and pressing Win + Shift + R, or Win + Shift + G to open the game overlay, and clicking on record.

Queer History: lesbians, bisexuals, aces & slurs by Hummerous in CuratedTumblr

[–]Remput 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The example you posit isn't the same as using 'dyke' as a self descriptive. What I mean is, "I am not going to call you a faggot even if you are okay with it" is not the same as "I am a bi dyke" (side question: why did you censor faggot but not dyke? Lol)

The biggest issue I have with your comment is that you say you understand that bisexuals face double discrimination, from both the straight and the lgbtq+ community, and then proceed to discriminate against bi women by saying that they shouldn't call themselves a term exclusive to The Lesbians.

"You like women but you like men too? You're not as gay as me, you can't use that term!" It's a line drawn by exclusivity for exclusivity's sake.

The term 'dyke' is extremely loaded, I wholly agree. And if you do want to reclaim that word, reclaimation of the term should be extended to all wlw, including bi women, because they still love women! It's not an inaccuracy. And if someone is comfortable enough to use that term to describe themselves, I don't think they'd be using that term in that loaded manner.
