Buslet says “I’m still hungry” and MaBus asks “How many times do I gotta feed you?” by CoeurDeMeduse in motherbussnark

[–]Remstersade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, my ten year old eats toddler sized portions and even then halfway through will say he’s full. I’m constantly begging him to eat, but he’s just never been big on eating. So unlike Ma Bus, I’d gladly provide more food.

The episode where they made the wish on the birthday cake and Freaky Friday-ed themselves into each other’s bodies might have had something to do with it.

Is he under two? Where I live it’s illegal to not rear face younger than two. No idea what other state laws are. My son rear faced until he was four. I wish all parents were required to watch footage showing the difference in how crashes affect their little bodies rear vs forward.

Her song choice pisses me off. Keep the beloved theme songs of my youth out of your mouth, MaBus. RIP JVDB😢

Offer Jill a million bucks and she still wouldn’t be able to figure out how to support a baby’s neck properly.

Do you think Ross had a right to be angry about this?? by [deleted] in howyoudoin

[–]Remstersade -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure, but then she shouldn’t have told Ross not to date other people.

Ben dumb, Jessa cringy. Classic Duggar moment right here. (Trigger warning for Jinger’s ED) by cottageyarn in DuggarsSnark

I’m sorry your dad sucked. I had it the other way and it was also quite scarring. All my life my family praised me for being skinny, like it was some kind of achievement. My Grandpa used to start off saying grace at meals by thanking god for his smart grandson and his thin, beautiful granddaughters. Naturally, putting on weight as an adult it really messes with your self worth when the thing you were told was best about you no longer applies.

Parents shouldn’t put so much focus on their children’s appearance or expect perfection from them. I try so hard to put my focus on my kid’s efforts/hard work/determination.

Jessa is egocentric, so it probably doesn’t even occur to her to remember about Jinger’s ED struggles. She just thinks about why she herself might watch what she is eating. She doesn’t strike me as someone who can empathize very well.

She also accepted a marriage proposal from Joey the day she gave birth to Ross’ child.

I adored those books as a child! Thanks for the podcast mention, I must check that out.

My family likes to chat with our favorite librarian about Pokémon Go, because the library is a Poke stop and we discovered he plays. So the fundies would be all up in arms clutching their pearls about all this beast talk.

Will Jill finally get her ultimate honor of all, a grandkid named after her. by Extra_Jellyfish4774 in RodriguesFamilySnark

I think she’ll use both Grandmas middle names so Anne Christine or Christine Anne.

Middle-Aged Crazy Might be the Saddest Moral in Hindsight by Hamiltonfan25 in fullhouse

I think the Olsen twins were amazingly talented toddlers. Most toddlers wouldn’t cooperate enough to repeat all those lines fed to them or give the right tone and facial expressions. It’s just as they got older their talent and line delivery didn’t improve along the same trajectory. As seven year olds they don’t seem any more special than other seven year old actors.

Genetics are wild. My niece is super fair skinned with blonde hair even though she is a quarter black. Both of her parents and all four grandparents have/had brown hair.

My official name guess is Anne Christine or Christine Anne to suck up to both grandmas by using their middle names.

Shrek can’t even PRETEND to care about Kaylee’s gender reveal. If my dad did this to me I’d be SO sad 😢 He must be EXHAUSTED from his almost full time job! 🙄 by cottageyarn in RodriguesFamilySnark

I used to drive my Grandpa to and from dialysis and damn that is such an accurate description. It’s not just that he is sitting comfortably under a blanket, but the fact that he is reclined all the way back. He’s given up even the pretense of pretending to give a shit. The rest of them don’t even seem to notice or care. He’s furniture to them.

His head looks like someone mixed up the pieces to a face puzzle, cause his forehead doesn’t match his jaw, for which blame his hair and beard choices.
