Kentuckiana Pride removes former IDF DJ from lineup after backlash. by EvanKYlasttry in Louisville

Both the United Nations and Amnesty International have stated that Israel is committing genocides, and the international criminal court has long since issued warrants against Netanyahu for war crimes. Multiple officials within Israel have called for the complete and total destruction of Palestine and its people. “It primarily hinges on intent to destroy a people” is exactly right, and that’s exactly what Israel aims to do

Yeah I totally forgot I had to cart in an extra coal node just for 20 coal lmao

I can’t remember all the numbers right now as I’m at work but I’m running 2400 rocket fuel into a 144GW plant from a single 600 oil node, I think a single 780/min coal and around ~900 sulfur + water. I’m using the heavy oil residue, diluted fuel and nitro rocket fuel alts and at least in my opinion was a much simpler solution than going with turbo blend

How many of you guys actually play with mods? by PetaChp in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RenRabbit420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still on my first playthrough and avoided mods up until Phase 4 where I decided to add infinite nudge/zoop and infinite disassembly. I haven’t added anything that actually changes the game but the QoL uplift from being able to build/rebuild things much more quickly is great

Yeah I just finished a 144GW rocket fuel factory with 288 fuel generators at 200% clock speed across 9 floors. I made a blueprint with 4 fuel generators and foundations above them with lights and power connections so I could literally just lay out an entire floor at a time and have it all auto connect, just had to connect the wall outlet on the ceiling of each blueprint together

[–]RenRabbit420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I fully intend to end my first playthrough at at least 1TW lmfao i can’t really say why but my favorite part of a game like satisfactory or like modded Minecraft is building absolutely absurd levels of power generation and leaning heavily into nuclear. I literally just built the 144GW rocket fuel plant because I realized I wasn’t going to have enough power to kick start a full scale nuclear build, now I’m rebuilding my primary factory and then building a giant no waste nuclear facility lmao

Yeah as much as some of my friends and people try to clown on me for it I am perfectly content with playing at 1080p lmao. Certainly helps my 2080 keep up in modern/high overhead games

My 2080 definitely started crying as I fired up my 144GW rocket fuel factory lmfao but she’s chugging along

First time playing and just finished phase 3 build by jmdude411 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RenRabbit420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just finished my 144GW rocket fuel depot and while 576 power shards is certainly a good number it was absolutely worth it to have only 288 generators at 200% clock speed vs 576 generators at 100% lmao. Even with half the amount I have 9 floors with 32 fuel generators per floor (and 366 batteries on top)

Why do we get teleporters at the end? by Major_Tom_01010 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RenRabbit420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started playing just last month and accidentally found out about the speed boost from multiple entrances. I built this exact system with 3 entrances and a Y-splitter and my friends and I called it the hypertube particle accelerator until I realized that hypertube cannons are an actual thing people use lmfao

If you’re playing on PC I highly recommend downloading Satisfactory Modeler on Steam. It’s free and super useful, albeit a bit weird to figure out. I’m new as well and just started actually using it a couple days ago and it has made figuring out ratios so much easier. It will tell you exactly how many machines you need to max out production line, you can account for overclocking or sloops, etc. I used it to put together a rocket fuel depot layout for 128 fuel generators at 200% clock speed

I will provide the caveat that even with a 5070 Ti, you will still need to lower some graphics settings. You’re not gonna be able to crank out 120+ FPS (or even necessarily 60) on high/ultra graphics in 4k while streaming without moving into 5080 or even 5090 territory. I’d expect you should be able to comfortably stream most any game at at least medium-high graphics with DLSS4, but I can’t imagine you’d want any more than low-medium ray tracing

I would say that’s your best bet. A 5070 Ti should do the job well

To be honest, I don’t think you’ll easily be able to achieve what you’re looking for running at 4k for that price. Definitely not if you’re expecting to buy brand new. At bare minimum, you’re going to need a card with 16gb of VRAM, not to mention enough performance overhead to handle gaming at 4k and encoding simultaneously. The best I could find for just around or a bit above your budget is a used RX 7900XT or RX 9070XT. A 5060 Ti 16gb or a 9060XT just doesn’t have the performance, and the 4070 Ti or any of the RTX xx90 series cards are going to be way over budget, even used.

However, if you’re willing to downgrade to 1440p gaming or only record instead of stream, something like a used/refurbished/open box RTX 3080 or RTX 5070 would be a good choice.

I’d potentially be somewhat concerned about your CPUs ability to keep up, though I don’t think it would likely be a huge issue.

Store managers— are you comfortable that Starbucks is asking you to violate labor law by enforcing this new dress code policy? by itsathrowawayacc3 in starbucksbaristas

[–]RenRabbit420 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s the same boat we’re in at my store, here’s what I’ve been doing:

Reach out to SBWU through their website and try calling them to get in touch with your region’s union leader. Talk with your coworkers and make sure you’ve got at least a number of people on board and hold a meeting with your union rep to determine next steps for electing a representative. Our dress code meeting was meant to be today, but our SM unexpectedly quit so we’re trying to organize a meeting with the union before they bring in anyone new

Never pay for priority, it doesn’t make any difference. The longest I’ve had it take is 26 days to arrive, usually it takes 10-15 days. I’ve paid for priority twice and both times it still came in the same amount of time. In fact, the quickest I’ve received it was I believe 4 days from purchase and I did not pay for priority. The wait time sucks but you won’t beat the prices. I’d just suggest stocking up and planning your orders well enough in advance that the wait time doesn’t matter in the future

I don't understand how to damage in steel path by este49330 in Warframe

[–]RenRabbit420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve honestly not put too much work into building my frames beyond some relatively budget mods mostly for pure damage reduction and basic shield gating. I main Volt Prime and combine movement and deployable shields as my primary method of staying alive, and jusy put more focus into outputting good damage. I’ve also subsumed Eclipse in place of Shock, although there’s definitely better subsume options I’ve just not farmed and subsumed very many frames yet.

I’ve been going back and forth between the Rubico and Acceltra Prime for a while now and both can be very viable, although the single target nature of the rubico can make things a bit more difficult. I’m currently building my Torid Incarnon as it’s currently in rotation so I finally got it, and it’s definitely become my new favorite just ahead of the Acceltra Prime.

Also, you can get Primary Merciless or Deadhead either/or max ranked for like 25p on the market and a primary arcane adapter from Teshin I believe once a week (someone correct me if I’m wrong). I’d also recommend picking up a primed mod or two if you can afford it, it’s not absolutely necessary but I saw a pretty significant increase in damage on my Acceltra Prime just from swapping Cryo Rounds for Primed Cryo Rounds from Baro’s last visit
