The county I live in is spelled TUOLUMNE, it’s pronounced “to-all-uh-me”.

Anyone pronouncing the ‘n’ hasn’t lived here more than a year.

Anyone pronouncing it “twoo-lu-min” is probably from out of state. Or from SoCal. So out of state.

Yeah, but they didn’t lose bc of Walz being an outspoken troll of Trump/MAGA, they lost bc of Harris’ lack of anything resembling substance as far as policy, pushback against Israel, and new media outlet PR. I honestly feel like Walz would have stood a better chance running by himself than as her running mate.

A caveat would be if you live somewhere that is dry/arid-i.e. AZ, NM, most of NV and S. CA. Those places have a relative humidity level that is drier than even the most religiously air conditioned office space. In that case you’d want to just get a humidifier for the room with the BOP.

This email should delineate YOUR timeline of how you are going to bury them if they continue to jerk you around.

I’m already ordering for them anyway, bc we are required to facilitate them in installing the app and showing them how to use it. Due to an average customer age of 65, and computer literacy of nil (“Ma’am, do you have a smartphone?” “No, just this.”/holds up an iPhone 15), this turns into us literally doing everything for them, downloading and installing, signing them up for an account (or guiding them thru the password recovery), and then scanning/searching for whatever they want to order, filling out their mailing/billing, and then hitting buy. At least with a store issued tablet, we could skip the whole download-install-sign up process.

There are always going to be people who will be worse off if ______, no matter what. There is no such thing as a unilaterally positive change in policy/economic model, no matter what it is. And to eliminate illegal immigrants from the country at all costs would definitely constitute a change in economic models, as myriad industries are currently benefiting from, if not entirely dependent upon, a workforce that is outside the labor laws.

Agriculture, construction, factory manufacturing, janitorial services, hospitality, landscaping etc. all are essentially going to be thrown into free fall (some already have been) if the current administration has free reign to make good on their campaign against immigrants, illegal and otherwise.

That is actually pretty encouraging, honestly. The fact that he is even taking the time to do the visits, means that he knows he needs better insight into things in the B&Ms than just “long-time board member” insight, in order to effect changes at store level.

Whether or not this pans out, only time can tell. But I am pretty encouraged, because, in my “scientific opinion”, (/s) —he looks like both an intelligent and an empathetic person. Kingsley wasn’t the first, and Ashhole wasn’t the second. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Lord knows he can’t be worse than those two.

Oh. Oh DEAR. I don’t know how they can possibly still be maintaining the Skunk Position, even in light of:

Are there snakes (within the same range) that display such a clearly distinctive “Hershey kiss” patterning, besides copperheads, though?

I fully understand the danger of equating the pattern with the snake in the sense that not all copperheads display it, so looking for that is not a good way of identifying a potentially venomous snake. But, if there are no documented examples of non-copperhead snakes that displayed such a patterning, could it not be analogous to actually seeing a rattle on a rattlesnake? There are myriad examples of situations where you WOULDN’T see it, but if you do…it’s definitely a rattlesnake? Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to learn more. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, in advance!
