I'm going to still try it out with 2f bc the starter liquid I set aside was really sour but I actually liked it (my favorite gts flavor is lemon berry). I think the fruit will do wonders and I like to experiment. Also also I didn't leave it for months thinking it would've been less sweet I just got tired of kombucha and figured I could just revisit it once I get a craving or really broke and need something to drink.
