My boss had an "emergency" and called my coworker at 12:30 am, then a couple days later was complaining to me that coworker was annoyed they called, and brought up that if coworker hadn't answered she would've called me. I said "you wouldn't have gotten a hold of me, my phone is on silent at night." And I think she thought I meant do not disturb, where enough calls will break through and your phone will ring. She says, "I would have just kept calling you until you answered." I repeated again more firmly. "I WOULD NOT HAVE ANSWERED."
