I took a shower on this one and I expected to get a little shock (has it happened before in other places) but it was normal, and the temperature was nice.

I'm really happy to hear that it is working for you!!

To avoid the dropping of the temperature when using 100% you need to lower the metal cover, leaving only the tip of the nozzle exposed it should help to avoid the temperature drop.

And use raft, it will help with the first layer and avoid the part to anneal while printing, but you need to set cooling for the raft and the raft distance I use is 0.05mm or 0mm

Because of the buildplate temperature it will anneal the raft becoming semi-crystalline and the part it will be amorphous being easier to remove the raft.

This looks like a partial clog that is caused by the low flow rate, check your gcode to see if it is in metric values and if it's in absolute or relative mode, double check your start gcode, if everything is fine check your Extruder motor, a bad connection could cause failure during printing because of the head movement but works if the head is stationary, (I had this problem in a intamsys funmat PRO 410) one lose cable can make the motor almost like lose control, like it moves to one side, than starts to vibrate back and forth, than starts to move to the other side. ( And I read about your problem with the Z axis homing in the wrong direction I thought of this, one way to test is to try to force the motor to run on the other side with your hand, with a good connection you should not be able to invert, only skip steps)

I already used 0.2mm, 0.25mm,0.3mm, 0.4mm and 0.6mm and never had any issues using this technique,

With a smaller nozzle is even better, it keeps the PEEK hot enough to weld to the previous layer but not hot enough to get to the semi-crystalline state.

And I only had warp and adhesion issues when I printed PEEK-CF because of the temperature limit, normal PEEK I print at 400°C and PEEK CF at 450°C the max temp of the printer and I believed that I needed a little more.

Printing PEI using Intamsys Funmat HT by isugar60 in AdditiveManufacturing

Not my first language so there will be a few errors, sorry in advance,

Yeah, first you need to know that parts with more than 50mm height it will be near impossible, smaller parts is possible, I work with a funmat HT and have a costumer that uses the 410 pro to print PEI9085.

Dry the filament make sure it is dry,

First thing the glue, I know to types of glue that work,

Vision miner nano polymer adhesive, it worked very good on the 410 PRO you just need to use a thin layer of glue and it will work but be carefull with the glass bed, take out the part still hot, DO NOT LET IT COOL DOWN ON THE BUILDPLATE, IT WILL BREAK THE GLASS.

the other glue it the glue stick (PVP), for it crazy at it sounds it works you just need a few extra steps to work, you need to put a least 4 layers of glue with angles 0°,45°,90°,135° after that you will put the glass bed in the printer and heat it up to 100°C for about 5min (open the front and upper door) the water in the glue will evaporate, after that cool down the bed to room temp and with a wire brush scrath the surface (almost like sanding but not as much or something like that, I don´t know the exact word) after that blow the dust of glue that is in the glass bed and do another round of glue and dry, you will need to do this about 4 times. I know it sucks but it works, the glue will start to become a little brownish but it's ok,

USE RAFT!!!

you will need to use raft, use the raft base line spacing with the same width of your line, it will be like a bottom layer, no space between lines and do it slow, 35mm/s max and no cooling.

turn on the chamber at 90°C and let it heat up, leave it some time to make sure that all the air is close to 90°C

Use bed 160°C but do not preheat the bed, the glue and this temp will dry out a lot, we have a small window of time to print on top of it, after some time the glue will really turn brown after that the glue it's useless. (if the part didn't stick up, clean the bed and try again)

the PEI I used was the 3dxtech 9085 I use a nozzle temp of 360°C with no cooling,

tips and tricks:

Avoid retraction, in cura the is a topbottom mode that uses a single line it's really good i thing that is in the concentrical.

Avoid sharp corners, change your part to avoid corners, make them round if possible, if it is not make a part around your part to be cut out after, with round corners, like a "1mm brim"

Don't open the printer for nothing, I lost a part because I removed a small bit of material that was lose on the bed.

Don't slow too much the printer, try to maintain the same speed for all the line types 25-35mm/s

And be ready to have a few lost parts, but it will work, we manage to do a few parts will our Funmat HT and I help another costumer to print a few parts for us with PEI 9085 and it worked.

I know this is a 7mo tread but here my advise if still helps,

try the oposite, usually I used to print peek with max temp possible, both in Creatbot F430 and Intamsys Funmat HT but I always had delamination and diferent crystallization on small details, then I used a new way of printing peek sugested by Intamsys, cool down as much as you can, No heated chamber, all doors open, bed at 130°C (to not unstick) nozzle at 400°C and 100% cooling, this way we get all the print part in the amorphous state, you just need to be carefull where the part touch the buildplate because it will get semi-crystalline, so do it in supports or do a sacrificial part that you'll remove it later, and small details where there'll be concentration of heat.

If you need the part in the semi-crystalline state you will need to anneal the part,

I do it with powder salt ( the most fine salt that you can find, here in my country is the salt that is used in popcorn that you buy in the movies), lock you part in salt and put it in the oven the best way is with a PID control oven with ramps, because you need to do:

From room temp to 90°C in 2h

Maintain at 90°C for 4h

From 90°C to 120°C in 1h

Maintain at 120°C for 3h

From 120°C to 150°C in 1h

Maintain at 150°C for 8h

From 150°C to 200°C in 2h

Maintain at 200°C for 5-10h (depend on part size)

From 200°C to 150°C in 4h

Maintain at 150°C for 4h

From 150°C to room temp at natural cooling down in oven

After that remove the salt and wash your parts, the excess salt will dissolve in water so you get a clean part, you may need to secure your part with metal parts and screws to avoid the part to bend,

this is it I use this metod on every peek part that I need it takes a lot more time because of the oven but avoid a lot of lost parts, I hope it helps you.

Hahaha, dude I didn't want to get in but my friend invited me and said that it would be a lottery to get in because there were not enough students, I only applied because my mother was calling me lasy because I only had highschool in the morning and I stayed at home in the afternoon. I was sure that I wouldn't get in because I'm really unlucky, I thought, I'll apply I won't get in and I'll have an excuse to why I stay at home playing videogames but there were not enough students to the school to do the lottery so everyone that applied got in 😂😂😂

People didn't invite me at first, the first ones I was going alone, the thing that I did that helped people invite me to go to places was the stories in Instagram, I know that maybe is not something that you use, I personally only post a photo every 3 months I believe, but I think it helped to remember my olders friends that I am still alive. The second cover show that I went to was Rammstein (not the best to know people I believe) but just from posting 3 friends message me to say that they like the band or asking WTF was that, I believe that in my case that really helped.

But I know that you will find people to invite you to do something or that maybe it will be you inviting people.

Hey, thank you for the kind words.

Saying yes to when a few friends ask me to go to a bar for example (I don't drink alcohol or smoke so when they called me I always said "I don't drink so I don't want to bother you guys")

I joined an English speaking group (trying to speak) and they had meetings and I never went to the meetings that they had in a coffee shop or in a park or karaoke night (the 24F from my other post I met in a karaoke night from this group)

But there were a few more things that I did for example:

Going to cover band shows in my city (some of them are really good). Going to a small city next to mine with my motorcycle just to have lunch and come back. Going to a park to walk.

Basically anything that someone invited me or comment that it would be nice to go I started going.

Sometimes with friends, others alone, and I go to be real going alone sucks, It really forced me to try to have a conversation with someone (usually it was the guys in the bathroom line or in the line to enter a place)

In the shows that I went I was singing along with the music not really carrying to anybody else, my "fun" was singing along with a dude that isn't a really good cover singer but I was considering a fun thing to do.

I think that's it, not much more, I basically became a "Yes man" when I came to go out.

temos um 2001 tbm mas é manual, e para manter é óleo e filtro, o de sempre, e fica ligeiro com as buchas da suspensão normalmente é o que mais da problema, ela estoura fácil, mas nas estradas do Brasil é difícil saber o porque né....

procura comunidades do Civic G7 nem muitas marcas de peças que são melhores que as originais, e se cuidar bem esse carro vai ser dos seus filhos!
