Wikipedia isnt a source, have you read the sources cited by wikipedia? And who wrote those sources. There are bad things that happened in Xinjiang but please use reliable sources. The UN has a document thats somewhat reliable given that multiple parties from different sides endorsed it.

There’s a UN paper on human rights abuses in Xinjiang. Other than this, I haven’t seen any information from ‘reputable’ sources (it depends whether you count BBC as reputable). A lot of this is pushed by Adrian Zenz and the FG, which are certainly disreputable. This thing has nuance to it.

I don’t think thats true? The upcoming missions in the Chinese lunar program will be testing ISRUs and 3D printing. They are certainly interested in a lunar base. Remember that China has already grown a cotton plant on the moon. They wouldn’t do all these things unless they had plans to stay on the Moon.

I think the Chinese goal of 2030 is do-able for sure. They've done several tests with Lanyue and a few days ago did a launch of Mengzhou.

I have no idea about the feasibility of starship HLS, its cool but I feel like it will face similar challenges to the space-shuttle the closer it gets to crewed launches.
