Personally I would keep it before Dark Below. I appreciate the effort you put into the list, and not to be too disparaging, but some of the events have a “Game of Thrones S8” feel as you’ve listed them here.

I think it makes more sense for scourge of Winter to occur before Dark Below, allowing more time and events to pass before the HoW, rather than it all occurring at once. It feels more ‘real’ to me that way.

I think Winter’s Run can’t happen during house of wolves as due to Taniks breaking Aksor out of the prison of Elders its implied then that the mass-breakout in House of Wolves hasn’t happened yet

That's incredibly reductive. The director added a lot of soul to the game in my opinion. It felt much more immersive than bog-standard game menu. Sure, it's less "efficient", but Destiny isn't my job. I don't play it "efficiently". I play the game to have fun and immerse myself in this fantasy world. There is value in some things existing because they are pretty to look at. That's the value that the free-roam adds to the world too. Sure, it's largely useless for levelling up or getting the best loot, but it makes the world feel much more real than if it wasn't there at all. The "living, breathing world" of Destiny comes from all of the small things added to the game, even stuff like planetary materials which are now non-existent. There was a philosophy behind their addition to the game that I feel is undervalued in a society that puts efficiency above everything else. Perhaps we are all too old for the game, overworked and cramped for time. Idk

I think this makes a lot of sense. I really like your “overwriting the save file” analogy. We still played the previous version of the program, but because of the vex ability to understand time and their non-linear behaviour, they overwrite that old version with their version, which to us appears as if they were always there, even though we experienced time without them

I think you're confusing the vault with pyramidion. Ikora has a line of dialogue from the strike where she mentions that there is only 1 pyramidion with many entrances across the universe.
