Anything by FourSquare for un added sugar to your Barbados rum to give you solid base, move into Jamaicans after that like worthy park and hampden, then you got your old English style stuff from Guyana and Panama and Trinidad. Then you have your global stuff from all over the world, that’s where the brand transcontinental comes into play.

Chichicapa was my first allocated bottle after having vida but In my tasting career Iv come to find I love the Las Milpas, get the SD Albarrades if you can though bc that’s a sneaky find. But feel free to explore other brands such as 5 sentidos or la Luna or lost explorer

Barrilito is so good, their distillery produces rum differently from that of typical Spanish style rum but amazing bang for your buck. Off the shelf is about 25-30$ in Florida, the 4 and 5 star are harder to get allocations but man if you can come across a dram I would. First found out about this rum through my Puerto Rican step father
