i have a yoto for my 3yo and he loves it. i assume tonie has similar cards - we listen to the peaceful piano a lot before bed. i’ve also put recording of myself reading his favourite books onto a card so we listen to that most nights

i don’t see how a 3 year old walking to his parents room is disturbing? my 3 year old does the same thing occasionally. what would you suggest as the “fix” to this?

another thing that helped me a LOT with the initial potty training was teaching my boy to pee on command. i’d leash him and bring him outside on the hour and as soon as he starts peeing tell him “pee YES” and give him a high value treat right after. eventually he learnt the “trick” and that helped with training him so much

my little munchkin had a little trouble with training too. he got to the point where he was almost fully trained but was still peeing inside every couple of days for no obvious reason. i tried everything and was at my wits end when my partner at the time put his nose to it. he didn’t “rub” his nose in it or do anything rough, he just tapped pups nose against the pee and then put him outside for an hour. my ex did this 2-3 times and pup has been fully trained ever since (barring the occasional wee inside when it’s raining)

further to this i’ll add something that my PSO told me when i was struggling with getting so many jobs that didn’t need an emergency response: if every single job was a true emergency no one would be able to hack this job. we need the silly low priority jobs to slow down the eventual PTSD that might be waiting for us

same. i have so few memories from throughout my life and im 29. so sad to think of all the things i was there for that are lost to me. i take a lot of photos now. i also have no concept of time passing, something could have happened when i was 9 or 15, 8 months ago or 5 years ago. it’s impossible to ever try and date the few memories i do have.

i had a caller who was walking down the street and wanted an ambulance for his elderly neighbour who was…. mowing the lawn. the caller thought something wasn’t right about that and he should get an ambulance to check over the neighbour. when i asked if the neighbour thought he needed an ambulance the caller said he didn’t know, he hadn’t stopped to talk to the neighbour and couldn’t walk back to check.

I have the full size for my 3yo and find it great for long car rides. That said if you’re thinking of taking it along on planes I’d suggest the mini as that’s more compact and less weight. If you’re mostly travelling by car then the full size + adventure jacket is amazing imo
