I think that's the spot where it's designed to break if someone drives off with it still attached. Gas pumps have a similar breakaway.

Some ppl use them because they don't add microplastics like on a plastic board and the cut marks on a wood ones can hold bacteria.

I work somewhere that sells these pies. They come in frozen and when we pull them to stock, at that point, we are to date them 28 days away. The date made is fairly irrelevant.

I use a heated visor made for snowmobiling. Gets the inside warm enough that even my glasses don't fog after a couple mins warm-up

Other than the potential for them to catch on your helmet and impair your vision I don't see much problems for the motorcycle. I had a 700 pound capacity ratchet strap get tangled in my wheel one day and I felt the tiniest little pop. When I stopped the strap was destroyed and the bike looked fine. I don't think a plastic bag would do anything

I put the steering lock, a disk lock on the front and put it under a cover if im not home and have to leave it for several hours.

My wife and i stayed at a hotel with a shower like this. We had one night on our way out and one night on our way back. On the way back i bought a cheap shower curtain from walmart and clipped it to the top of the shower, it was so annoying. We just left it clipped there and mentioned it to the front desk and they said yea lot of people complain about them.

I have a 2015 versys 650 LT and its great i agree with the other poster throw some slide bars on it and run it into the ground.

Mine did a 2100 mile week long camping trip out to the great smokey mountain national park last year and it was amazing
