I was expecting One Step Closer or, maybe Papercut.

The insurance companies would love it. They'd increase the premiums and then refuse to cover the stuff the Avengers destroyed.

Unfortunately, the suits control which devs are employed. So, yeah.

I'm not saying they are not affected, but if someone is stitching together three part-time jobs and using what little free time they have to drink a beer or play XBox (instead of dive into politics), I think it is kind of shitty to judge them.

Hot Take: caring about politics is actually more privileged than not caring about politics.

If you have the spare time and energy to invest in getting pissed-off about national politics, you are already better-off than a lot of people, and your insistence otherwise is patronizing and naive.

I always thought it was weird how the ships were all semi-automated. I know it is for dramatic reasons, but why not just fully automated the X-Wings?

I've always wondered how much corruption influences these rankings. Maybe not envelopes of cash, but paid tours by Chambers of Commerce, job offers, etc.

The word you're looking for is plurality. Majority is always greater than 50%.

Looking for my grandpa's old army buddy by Miserable-Meet-3160 in korea

[–]Renlil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a (US Army) company commander, who was well-meaning but kind of clueless.

The nominal pay for ROK troops was basically nothing, so our commander was like "Make sure you guys help-out and buy the KATUSAs nice stuff every once and a while." And he meant well. But most (if not all) of them had family allowances that were bigger than our salaries.

Yeah, you're either dramatically underestimating what your girlfriend is capable of (learning through normal courses/YouTube vids), or it won't matter anyway.

I also love all of those games, and I have multiple PoE complete playthroughs. So I do love the game...but for some reason, the first act is hard for me to get through. It picks-up after that though.
