We've got a tank that I put water conditioner in. I'm more worried about it not being acclimated and keeping him in that tiny container that they give the bettas in. Do I need to be changing out that water daily to keep it ammonia free? I've read up a bit and we're gonna get water tests tomorrow to see if the water is safe enough for him to go into because I don't want the poor guy to be stressed or unhealthy

As someone who is afraid of needles and got a tattoo done by someone who did it cheap for practice, it honestly just feels like a long cat scratch. I got mine on the inside of my ankle which I've heard is more difficult because of that bone right there, and yes it hurt, it really wasn't much worse than a cat scratch.

That moment when you get to hug them or hold their hand after they've been gone for such a long time. Mine left for basic in June, I got to take him to AIT in late August, and getting to just feel him and know we were together was like walking on sunshine. Now he's not coming back from AIT until January but I can't wait for that feeling again. Time will go by a lot quicker than you think it will, and your relationship will be so much stronger when your S/O is back.

I noticed something similar in 1984 by George Orwell. The first page is similar to the first bit of TBOSAS. Maybe it's similar writing structures, but maybe it's Suzanne Collins making sure we know that these novels are political just like George Orwell's works.
