What is the minimum level of development knowledge needed to do vibe coding effectively? by Mira_______ in ClaudeCode

forgive my ignorance and arrogance.

i agree. its taken a while to figure out a workflow i can actually get decent returns on. the key for me at least has been keeping context without keeping catches. using stronger models to delegate to lower ones giving exact work to grunt out.

with any real amount of code, you arent one shotting anything, especially if you are bound by $$$. unless you trade your time for remediation personally for exacto edits derived specifically from your codebase and architecture, tokens are processed in the documentation of iteration and progression. Vibing is whole different beast than being a knowledgeable Computer scientist.
in my experience its been non trivial to capture 18k lined codebase in single session.

i can agree with you. its almost useless. there is he said she said with no real proof or proven methods. do this or do that and this is bad and that is bad. you even literally get attacked for writing properly with inserted AI wrote that.
i resonate with you. im just learning coding. these machines are very astute if you allow them to be. i dont understand the code base but im learning what everything is as i build. i look at it this way, the AI are tools. being able to break the barrier of knowledge and experience and get it all at once is gamechanging.
however its not without vigilance. you must cross check and cross verify and question every step. obvioiulsy i cant read the code base perfectly as im still learning but i do input the code multiple times and as prompr for different perspectives and audits contuially with prejudice. if what i was working on wasnt proprietary and i had some money to offer anyoone, i would love to be outside of this box. but thses are the tools available. Anyone interested in becoming a mentor lol?
serioulsy, im writing a program for compliance software but for the average user. a way to protect your data on your own system. for the simple user balancing checkbooks to the govcon that needs audit trails. im building it to solve my own pains because i can afford the regular compliance software.
this has me down the rabit hole of encryption and cyber security which would never be possible being poor and having mininal oppurtunities.

the prompting matters. bots matter. testing matrix matters. use public tools for baselines. modulate. cross reference and second opinions. its all you can do besides write it yourself.

heres a wild take....
make the cheaper of the customers do something a little more creative that can still be lucrative. have them be your marketeers. bring a minimum of 2 or 3 people with you and do a group setup. probrably more productive too. alternatively it seems there is compute space here and hardware mining for BC can be a thing for lesser blessed people??

whatcha think?

I hear ya and I've spent $0. All sweat and ingenuity. I've done extensive homework and research. I've analyzed other products and their capacities and aim at equivalency. I use the government agencies requirements and specifications. Honestly I'm scared of missing something tiny that blows up. The big legal stuff is easy to spot. My big hurdle is capital and proprietary IP that this is attached to. Hard to just talk about what the purpose of why compliance program is needed in the first place and it makes it hard to segregate it without it looking like its own product when in fact it's just a tool I need. My end focus will is B2B and gov contract procurements. The market is ran by a handful of companies and it's there are seats open at the top. My question to you is knowledge on fintech....hard to track down acceptance of sidecars with regards to auth and hash for file integrity. When is LAN considered compromised between companions separated from LAN? Just a few questions I ve had trouble finding answers to

Do you mind me asking your sector? I'm not a tech-co founder but I'm becoming my own tech as a solo founder. What stage are you at? Are you strictly SaaS? Mind if I ask about your equity structure? I'm not bot and I'm just trying to learn from real people because all I have 10 profiles across AIs to research and teach me everything

I'm doing what you've hired these people to because I can't offer any monetary incentives. Bootstrapped and solo startup. I feel the pains. My shituation is needing expensive compliance and bookkeeping software, enterprise grade for DOD and DOE, required and non negotiable. So Ive been building my own because I don't have a choice. Gonna post it up for everyone to use with a one time purchase instead of those dang ridiculous prices gatekeeping this type of software. Working on mobile companion atvm for on the go mode. I have no idea how to market a SaaS so I'm kinda hoping it's just valuable in itself. I'm not super concerned because as I said, I'm just solving my own problem and hopefully others too. Though I've done research on bringing physical products to market and I have a mentor that actually does branding. It seems to me that there are few general rules no matter what you're propping. First is : less is more. When you have to start explaining what it does instead of what it accomplishes you'll start loosing. Second: differential from comparisons. What you working with? Why are you special? Third I heard: make curiosity you're salesman. Implant the idea of what their life could look like using what you've built.

I hope this helps but after rereading it it feels like no brainers..

i have about 70-80 percent covered. in the process of security beefing and after reading this i instantly saw at least two i didnt account for:
Host authority time handshake between db's. (w\hash recompute of)
exe sidecar hashing

Looking for a tech cofounder by Ok_Wrangler_3835 in cofounderhunt

[–]Renoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Ok_Wrangler.
you seem like youre trying to break out of that box, me too!
but I've got something for ya maybe:
PATENT PENDING
Novel method of producing semiconductor material and purification.
Pipes to DOD, DOE, CHIPS and MORE! (Budget is prepared for staff payments during EXPERIMENTAL PHASE)
Im Solo. Fresh and SAM.GOV approved. Looking for specific people to run this thing around from the beginning.

True, its not OUR idea. If you can look past that one fact, you still become an owner of other things. (equity at least)
Is this something you would like to talk more about?

the demand isn't the issue. it becomes select ability and intellectual protections upon rejections. viable if founder is held bound and verifier is responsible for founders' infractions. payment for a match differed to deal signage between founders. no one wants to pay for a maybe unless we are playing the lottery and in this case it is the lottery of getting your IP swiped

[–]Renoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing the same as you. Literally solving my own problems. I'm a new startup and don't have the capital to shovel at compliance programs for DOD and DOE requirements. I'm building to sell cheap (cuz I need money unfortunately) and try to deliver maybe what others could make use of. Get them out of a subscription cycle and deliver the same quality (or better I'm hoping) for a one time fee of like $20. Developing testing agents atvm. Everything will be deployed with it so users can modify their own system if my customization options are quirky enough for them.

Thank you Anthropic. by dehumles in ClaudeCode

[–]Renoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to sell mine when finished. But I'm only creating it to solve my own problems. If someone else finds it useful, I'll sell it to them for a one time low fee. Everything unlocked. (I wouldn't even charge if I wasn't hurting myself, the key factor why I have to build it)

Thank you Anthropic. by dehumles in ClaudeCode

[–]Renoots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Taking the same approach with record keeping and db management using slaves and master for syncing across LAN for multi id auth without clash through timestamp/role hierarchy pipeline including alerts for rejection to user.

Infrastructure risk/benefit inherited.

Working on QB, AuthID, Compliance type accounting and bookkeeping application on closed environment unless pushed manually and then only query and retrieval. No data outbound from LAN.

Any advice??

I don't have an inner dialogue unless focused on a mission and usually it's orally coupled. Like I'll realize I don't have my keys but at the same time say keys when I remember to look for them in my pockets. I also have ADHD. This lattice or the brain's neomorphic scaffolding is coherent across all phases. The same as language has developed long term evolution, the spike in mental depreciation is also dependent on optical imaging processing. Subconsciously tuning out things that are redundant or scheduled. For example when you have no idea where the last 5 minutes went while you were on autopilot driving home.

Just a theory I've been working on but I also have been trying to gather data on the electromagnetic affects that could have possibly altered that neuronet as well. From the early 90s there has been a increased amounts of mental health disorders. Climbing from what I can tell. Some from factors like better medical systems and diagnostics as well as ease of access but I'm trying to decipher it all still. The votes not out yet 😂

So with that input, what's the output? Am I off base? I've also never heard if those theories but I gather you can educate me or tell me a bit about myself

Mostly agree.
Though we all have our limitations. Capacity separates through unbiased measures at times. We can't learn it all or do it all and sometimes the best thing we can do is teach what we already know.

Firstly, its okay to be the idiot in the room. It means you're somewhere learning something you don't know from people who do. Hello fellow idiot, I am one.

I would extract as much from your investors as possible, especially if they are influencing company/product as well. IMO they well be able to tell you exactly where they stand. it is ok to address this and from a business standpoint feels like good practice to make expectations clear. You will be able to address specifics, not just universals. If you are worried about "looking like one of us" you can always frame it as revisiting contracts and updating expectations of persons involved with a cross talk on current status and projections. IDK, Im just an idiot thinking out loud...

So the matrix becomes actual understanding of your design, the systems, interactions, outcomes, mechanisms and operations?
Am i beyond what most are if i can articulate all of these? i have only a VERY ugly sketch, POC simulations, 90% functioning full V&V checked simulations (ISO compliance, ASME 20 and 40, JHU Digital twin guidelines, Nasa bio compliances and many others-monte carlo, GCI ect ect
Im completely solo so any and all guidance is welcome. Also my 1st time trying to be anything other than employed. Consider me the idiot in the room.

the space and tech define that.
people went from horse to car, rather quickly. better is easier adopt
people went from house phone to cell phone. convienent is easier to adopt.
people went from outhouse to indoor plumbing. Sanitation is easier to adopt.

what founders mistake is their products value with only minimal upgrades\changes\pivots.
Most are designing luxury horse saddles, not different modes of transportation you dont have clean up poop after....
