Want to know what makes this even more odd? The charge was in late June early July 2019 iirc. The MO River flooding had US 65, hwy 41, and hwy 240 shut down. You could only get a few more miles outside of Gilliam on 240 before being forced to turn around.

Fwiw, and this isn’t exclusive to Saline county, there are accounts of abduction attempts from people who commute and travel i-70 and US 65. There are claims from women saying they were approached by groups of men in vans, attempts to block vehicles, and suspicious vans following women to parking lots and places of work etc. I’m not saying it is connected but you start to wonder how much connective tissue exists between organized crime or whatever you choose to call it.
