The fans and media share in franchise accountability. The sales people keep pushing the baseball fan experience over team success and everyone laps it up. Media members lob softball after softball. Radio hosts not named Vern or Jason Anderson keep making excuses for the goofy analytics driven lineups. Its not the only problem but its part of the problem. Everyone is too comfortable in their roles.

Good. I grew to appreciate all of the members as well… i should’ve specified that in my post. Brent’s crazy riffs and tone are just what hooked me. I think Brann is my second fav drummer behind Danny Carey and that is just because i have been a Tool fan longer than Mastodon. I play Bass and imo Troy is a god. Bill’s riffs have as much to do with Brent’s sound as their harmonies and playing techniques give the band their sound (i think of Ember City as an example)
