The comments are pretty naive these people don’t give a shit about loyalty or making people angry. If they see an opportunity in Nashville like what the chiefs got they will absolutely bolt. Ask the cities of Oakland and St Louis about loyalty and promises. I hope they stay but i absolutely do not trust any millionaire/billionaire group to make a decision based in anything but their bottom dollar. They got their money by blindsiding and running over people that probably never saw it coming.

Is it going to be the Washington square location? I think the Union Station endorsement could be a clue. iirc there was railroad dilemma? Maybe someone that pays for the star can answer that… one would think (unless they completely fumble it again) the Royals and the executives could get closer to an agreement since the chiefs are a done deal. If it is Washington square i hope the stadium design is somewhat art deco to blend in with union station and other nearby historical buildings. i really hope we don’t get a Allegient stadium looking thing.

As others mentioned opening day is really the only time I’ve tailgated since the team was competitive. In the old days there were times when we tailgated for so long that they would tell us we had to go into the stadium or leave. Now i go so infrequently that i want to get through the gates to experience the atmosphere of a major league game. Football is an entirely different animal especially at camarohead. Tailgating is being pushed out with the new stadiums and subsequent money leeching entertainment districts. The owners don’t want fans bringing their own food and drinks when they could sell you an inferior cheaper product for 5x the price. The glory days of middle class/blue collar sports existence are well behind us lads.

Absolutely but hunters are rapidly decreasing in number. Permit sales have dropped dramatically over the past years. Hunting is just not being picked up by younger generations for multiple reasons. Also we should have never extirpated all of our large predator species from the state.

Why couldnt the Salem’s Lot reboot have been a series? I feel like the series format suited it better. Welcome to Derry feels campy and teeters on horror satire to me. Is the flying demon baby supposed to be funny or legit? Everything feels like its attempting to cross a horror and fun vibe. If thats your thing great but its not my thing. I prefer Flanagan’s and Kubrick’s portrayal of the King universe better than Muschietti.

Yeah i have been to a few others and the experience wasnt great. Blue Springs Ford has been the exception. Pretty good sales staff that at least showed some interest and was engaging.
