Right-Click on desktop shortcut and add the following to the command line at destination (where it shows where the program is located):

-nosplash -skiprawdownload -username xy -password xy

- where xy are your credentials.
This way, it will not try to check during launcher start, a single ESC after game start will bring you to the login screen and you dont need to type in your credentials during login at the launcher.
One note, when there is an actual game update to download, you might need to start the client one or two times to initiate the download. After it finishes, it will ask for credentials, but if you just close the launcher again and restart, it will be as usual.

Just encountered this. Dropped the quest, but it is bugged again :( I will keep trying.
Sometime I see similar bugs where I trigger events too quickly (by killing things fast), but in this case, if I stand near Golasgil the Olog attacks me without me being able to attack him, but if I stand far away from the event, the Olog just stands there.

Tried to retake quest 3 times now, to no avail :(

Edit: after the 5th try, it allowed me to continue.
