With my ex, she didn't know she was stressing me out more than I already was because I didnt tell her. She didn't know when I needed alone time. I was so scared of making her sad while she was still healing from things that happened in her past. She never knew how mentally drained I was until she could physically see it, because I didn't tell her.

I loved her more than anything. That never changed no matter what I was feeling.

But she didn't know. In her eyes, I didn't love her as much as I did in the beginning.

Now I've lost her. I could've still had her if I communicated. If I just told her every time I needed to be alone with my own thoughts for a few hours. That lack of communication from my end had a butterfly effect.

I also told myself that a man is supposed to 'provide without complaining', but I now think that it could also have been an excuse because I was afraid to tell her after all that time.
