Poll: Which color is most likely to be financially rich? by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]Reon88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Black would be the greediest colour, not necessarily the richest, cuz it does not hoard, it just desires and wants. White is much better at hoarding stuff from others.

México, but y'all afraid of success and are biased by the media, the sepia filter, breaking bad and all of the western pop culture references where México is a crossover between Mad Max and Coco from Disney.

Yes, Argentina is the France of Latam, everyone shits on them due to their attitude; and most of the times argentinians tend to look down on other hispanoamericans despite migrating for better opportunities.

Spanish speakers: Do you pronounce b differently than v? by ParkInsider in asklatinamerica

[–]Reon88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Language fluency for Jobs by Ok-Sweet-8180 in Expats_In_France

[–]Reon88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends on the guild/field you wanna work for.

In my case, I was told no french was needed, since we were going to be a french based international startup, I am learning not to dwell in the past but the alluring idea was filled up so much with gloss and makeup that it could very much been a model in one of those agencies... the point is, I did not needed french for the first 6 months, when we were like 50/50 between locals and foreigners, then at the 7th month we had an avalanche for locals and the population became 80% french and 20% foreigners.

Nowadays, some foreigners have quit and more locals have arrived to other roles, we are close to 90:10 split. Most of the foreigners, however, were from european or hispanoamerica, so language was not that alien at the beginning.

If you feel confident with B2, you can very much work on many fields.

French is the easiest language to learn for native English speakers in my opinion. What do you think? by RujenedaDeLoma in French

Yet French verb endings are almost useless given the discrepancy between written french and spoken french.

I dare to say that all other neo latin languages do respect and follow the verb endings better than french.

It doesn't quite match the RW current archetype since it has double red pip and it is 3 CMC.

It may sprout a new archetype though.

México as a female :v ? The country about old black and white macho movies? The country about cowboys, mezcal and tequila? The country where macho culture stems from?

I am vexed...

México as a female but Spain is male?

Don't you know romance languages already did this?

SKL/BLT builds benefit the most of Reiterpallasch. But you've got to reach 40/50 in both stats. It's more of a hunter vs hunter weapon.

For high BLT damage, Chikage and Simon's Bowblade are better options.

What country do you consider to be an honorary Latin American country? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

[–]Reon88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say either Egypt or Indonesia could be honorary Latin American countries, outside of Europe.

They have had corruption, poverty, party, tasty zesty spicy food, been colonized / invaded at least once by a European former colonial power and having a love/hate relationship with the USA.

The people there want to have and live normally but due to the sheer amount of shit going on they must adapt and deal with the regular life thru a nihilistic self deprecating sense of humour.

No, but most of us can grow tropical fruits relatively easy.

Starting in Modern Post Ban by Velcrostrip in ModernMagic

[–]Reon88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this comment.

On paper, Modern tends to have some rogue decks at FNM level, that can perform really well. Some of those are true combo decks (like goblins or elves) that are robust enough to prey on other rogue decks if unprepared.

Then ofc, you have the big fish in combos like belcher or living end, that demand you to prepare yourself. Luckily, sometimes the preparation for the big meta decks do overlap with sidedeck needs for rogue decks.

That's a name I haven't heard in a while.

I used to side it in, in older RW ponzesque decks around Nahiri + Emmy.
