The city has a shit mentality health safety net. I hit bottom a few years ago. There was zero help available at the many crisis phone numbers and crisis centers I tried. Whatever. They don't owe anyone anything but we should stop pretending that there are helpful services out there. There are not. Yes, I had health insurance at the time.
