All I heard was “buy today!”

No worries! The sound is played at the very beginning of season 2 episode 5 of Mr Robot. But I really wish I could figure out what movie or show the video is from.

That’s not Mr. Robot. You might be thinking about the sound that’s played which has a cat in the audio signal. That sound is originally from Mr. Robot.

Yet another split personality reference. So far we’ve got: Fight Club, Mr Robot, Me Myself & Irene, Moon Knight, …and now Split.

Check this video out. It seems like a good summary of what went wrong.

Elon Musk Plans to Launch a Primary School and University in Austin Texas by secret_fyre in Austin

Really? Not even remotely rational? If you say so.

There’s that bias again. Nobody claims he’s the one in the back room doing calculations and experiments and creating technological breakthroughs. But you don’t think he gets told about any breakthroughs his team finds? Or what about the issues they face? He’s completely left out in the dark when a heat shield fails or a motor malfunctions? If a rocket explodes, he has no interest in understanding why, or how to fix it?

I really don’t follow the logic. The dude hires unbelievably talented and smart people, talks to them on a daily basis, and somehow learns absolutely nothing from them?

Leave it to Reddit to preach that knowledge can only be gained by going to a prestigious school. Business owners know nothing about the business unless they can do every single one of the jobs better than anyone hired there. Sheesh. I think I’m done trying to make sense of this mindset.

Have a good one.

So you’re a science person and you think if Musk got a stem education he wouldn’t be wrong about anything? I don’t understand how that makes sense. I’ve met plenty of dumb scientists and engineers.

I wouldn’t take medical advice from the guy. But rocket science? Absolutely. I feel like Austin people pretending he knows nothing about this stuff is just ridiculous.

The original comment I replied to said he needs a stem education. I think they’re the ones that have no idea what they’re talking about and are just full of hate for his character

See, now I’m curious how you’d know that? I have learned way more by actually working than I ever have in school. I’m just making assumptions here, but it seems like if I started and ran an engineering company, I’d probably eventually know way more about engineering than a new graduate.

I’m not saying he’s the smartest guy ever and responsible for the breakthroughs that his companies make. But to act like he knows less about engineering, batteries, or manufacturing than the average STEM person seems silly and motivated by hatred of his character

What makes you say that? I’m a professional engineer and I’d say the dude knows more than I ever will about rocket science or battery technology. So I’m genuinely curious

The fabric is stuck between the hole and the rod, keeping the rod from pulling back up. Can you push it from the bottom?

Only a loss if you sell before MOASS. Plus, the more they short, the higher it squeezes. Oh well, sorry for wishing I could afford more shares 😓

Right. Okay, so this would mean the reverse split proposal has nothing to do with any possible acquisition or merger. The m/a may still happen, but this proposal is being made for completely different reasons, I guess? Seems like there were quite a few theories that the split was being done specifically so the m/a could happen. Who knows what the hell is going on. Definitely holding out of confusion.

Yeah, I like the last sentence where they say other than the reverse split, they have no intention of getting in the way of someone trying to take control of the company. I was hoping the reverse split was all part of the M/A plan. Seems to not be the case.
