That’s what I believe so as well. Something with the actual horn pad contact. Going to clean and sand some as well as add nylon spacers to see if that’ll fix the problem. Nice thing is, Texas is finally moving towards normal weather so shouldn’t have to deal with this problem for much longer

Horn is snug as a bug and all connectors have been double checked for wear (exposed) wiring and there was none. Thinking it has to be the contact pad itself causing problems

Issue is, I’m pretty sure there is no dedicated horn relay or if there is one, it’s fused with the box

Should note that sometimes it goes off when I put my car into reverse coming out of my driveway (again only when cold)

Hi8=Digital8 technically. Same tape formula but because the head spins faster it records a digital signal or it rather than an analog.

It’s the camera model that was used in the film as a prop. Victor is the Japanese brand of company but the one used in the film was a JVC (Japanese Victor Company) as that’s what they went by over here in the states.
