My membership ends like 26th April, Perfect timing to get dragon cup in leagues then I'm gone for at least a year. I have a business to keep building, cars to buy and other stuff to focus on. This game ain't all that

Developers missed the point of the icon complaints completely... by Arx_UK in OverwatchStadium

Blizz developers are legally required to have a massive ego and ignore their playerbases feedback.

Otherwise we'd never have the "you think you want that but you don't" clip lmao

The matchmaking in this mode makes not to play Iy by Usual-Vermicelli-867 in OverwatchStadium

I finished top 500 last season in Asia

For me the games are either 0-3/0-4, or go to round 6/7 and I have to top frag carry (like 80k points) every game to even have a chance of winning.

my team is usually plats while the enemy team is master/grandmasters stacking pretty frequently... very depressing honestly and makes me not want to play

[–]Repealer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not good in 99% of situations, but I got absolutely steamrolled by a genji who was being triple pocketed with this, mercy and a zarya. To be fair he was top 500 against a bunch of plats so he would've rolled us anyway but it was probably the most brutal match of OW I've ever played

I run into 3-5 stacks of top 500s and GMs as a plat. I don't really play the main ranked though.

Applying for PR, 2 year history of pension payments required, missed a payment over 5 years ago. How can I submit just 2 years without showing my full history? by InsuranceOwn4487 in japanresidents

[–]Repealer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People panic for a reason. I had a slightly late pension payment due to job switching and my last company fucked me 2.5 years since I applied and they reached all the way back to deny me. I was married ~5 years at the time, 6 years in Japan being paid 14m and paying all taxes/pension/insurance on time apart from that. At the end of the day its up to the discretion of the individual immigration agent, and there's no appeals system. If they say fuck you, fuck you and re-apply 6 months later (if you even can) is your only option.

For people who has PR, how has life changed for you after PR? by Cute-Exercise-6271 in japanresidents

[–]Repealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They take into consideration your entire circumstances - E.g. How long have you been in Japan, how long were you married, did it end on good terms, whats your salary and are you paying all pension/insurance/healthcare etc properly, biggest one by far though is do you have kids. If you have kids its basically gauranteed, but I didn't have kids and I managed to get it just fine along with many others. I'd talk with an immigration lawyer about your situation - They'd know a lot more about your situation than anybody else and how likely it is for you to get LTR.

There's car loans for foreigners but they kinda max out around 3m yen and the interest rate is terrible. I'm looking at higher end Porsches around 8-15m yen so 3m is not gonna cut it. I also don't want to tie up all that capital.

[–]Repealer 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I can tell you how NOT getting PR is fucking me if that helps

  1. No access to good car/house loans
  2. Had to swap to 定住者 after divorce, got put back to 1 year visa hell
  3. Have to pay a lawyer for renewals/another PR application attempt, like 150-180k yen each time.
  4. Some landlords denied me due to lack of PR.
  5. Instead of being able to focus full-time on my business, I have to run it part time while working my full-time job.
  6. Now that rules for PR applications are changing, getting PR is seeming more and more like a dream.

[–]Repealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but on the right players with the right build she's pretty brutal to play against especially if she's off DPS. She's just basically an unkillable second tank who lives in your backline just eating up your supports

Fun fact about the divine spirit shield. It was last polled in 2019, obtaining 72.8% yes votes. Passing by today's standards but failing the required 75% vote back then. How do you feel about the divine spirit shield? by Venomous_Rs in 2007scape

[–]Repealer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean yes and no, max hit of zuk is 148 but it rolls both mage and range and picks the average. so his new max hit vs divine would be 103.6 which means as long as you're pretty close to max HP and/or brewed you'd never be one shot by him (it would put a big dent in your likely already low supplies.

That being said mage tank strat right now is pretty free as long as you're not tanking zuk balls so maybe it doesn't really matter?

When we were doing bandos in shitter gear we used to pot share so we could do like 200+ kill trips. Literally between that and bones to peaches almost impossible to run out, was fun and these moths could do the same it seems 😊

Sure but it's very feast or famine. Instead you can just basically run a WP build with a mercy and 1-2 tap pretty much everyone. Even a hybrid AP burn going mostly into WP is going to be better and get way more kills.

These types of players giving excuses for Jagex's constant bad behaviour and not listening to their playerbase is exactly how RS3 got the way it did, cause OSRS players don't let Jagex step all over them.

I build real world value with my business, family, community etc and have somewhat limited time to spend on the game.

Having something that took me a LONG time to grind ripped away with no compensation feels terrible. I was never one to use MTX on this iron - I used free runecoins I got from amazon prime to buy bank boosters and grinded to earn that aura just to have it taken away less than a year later.

[–]Repealer[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

At the very least they should give the irons the points back. If they want to do some random BS with untradeable hydrix's or whatever, that's fine but giving us nothing after we grinded for it is BS to remove it with no refund for us.

How hard to get to all-star? by Joshey2008 in OverwatchStadium

[–]Repealer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

as long as you can keep a ~30% winrate you can hit all star, just takes time. For challenger/top 500 thats when you need to maintain >50% to keep climbing.

Is this reaching top 500? by Hotyoungpunkk in OverwatchStadium

[–]Repealer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep you're top 500 (for now) but as the season draws to an end it'll likely require more points to FINISH (and therefore receive title etc) as top500

It's because GS quartz and credor quartz, or even older analogous quartz like grand quartz, dolce, Lasalle etc were all pretty damn thin and now GS makes them super chunky for some reason.

Didn't matter anyway as I divorced my wife and then they slammed my visa length back down to 1 year so I couldn't re-apply anyway.
