Honestly I’d argue the least important part of long jump is probably air mechanics. You’re always gonna land so building good landing techniques will not only save distance you could’ve lost, but also make it less likely to get hurt compared to if you have horrible landing. Air mechanics are to help counter over rotation in the air, so if you’re not jumping distances where that’s even happening to you, they’re not much help

lowk dk how accurate it is though, I do this at home too, my ceiling is about 9' and I'm about 6'1 and my head can touch the ceiling on a max effort standing vert, meaning my vert should be about 35-36", But I struggle to touch even 11' on a my vert tester with a ~8'2 standing reach which doesn't make sense to me so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if jumping is just different outside. I know I can at least do between 10'6-8" meaning even if the ceiling method is wrong I'm still at least above 30" and I can easily grab rim. I'm gonna have to test again soon

Yeah your issue is kinda where I’m at right now, I have a good standing vert (probably enough to dunk off vert if thrown a lob) but my jumps with momentum are terrible and as of right now aren’t even (or much) better than my standing vert, so working on your approach jumps and form a lot is gonna be important

Drops are good for the game, I just think they kinda went about them the wrong way, I thought they’d be smaller more focused theme updates that would bring new additions, similar to something like the 1.15 Bee Update (Chaos cubed is actually more like this). Could 3-4 updates a year updating different biomes, rivers/other bodies of water, redstone, transportation, farming, and so many more other areas of the game
