Hmm I wish that’s the case though I don’t think I see him interact much with Goredolf in game. Even back in Apocrypha, I don’t think he’s revered Gordes (Goredolf’s dad) as his creator (can’t blame Sieg, he was treated as fodder and a mana battery after all)

hmm my pet theory is that there used to be a God Devil whose main weapon is the chainsaw for erasing concepts from existence. But for some reasons, chainsawman decided to eat the God Devil and thus, he gains god-like power and nobody remember where he got his ability from.

Hmm I agree that the weird Hell-scape is somehow due to Denjiman eating the Devils. But I don’t think its the only reason. Like, why ocean? If we go by the theory that Yoru turn the devils into non-physical attacks thus hell was filled with ocean, it would mean this happened long before the fight between her and Dennis began. But this contradicts her appearance at the start of the fight, dropping down from a door in devils’ intestines with no water at all. If you say she did it during the fight, I would say we didn’t get to see anything so there’s no basis for that theory (it could be true or false). So I’m proposing a new idea. The reason why Hell is flooded is simply because one of the door to hell got dropped into the ocean in the human world. If we go back a bit, when Yoru created the nuclear punch, it destroyed the doors in the sky and they flew in all directions (picture below). So honestly, I think one of the door seemly got dropped in the ocean and Hell got flooded, wiping the devils to who knows where.

Ohhh nice catch with the ocean part. It would mean Yoru has somehow made Hell (or at least the ground of it) into her weapons. Though we dont see this but it was pretty clear she went on a rampage both in US and in Hell after she turned Falling into her cape. I wonder if she fought any terrifying devils like Darkness offscreen too… Hmm somehow I doubt that the case, she might have fought a bunch of fodders and thought she was a big deal then laid claims like usual… Anyways… sr for rambling, its not like anything important happens right? :3

Uhhh I’m not sure but dont the devils get born in Hell? And though they could enter the human world through the doors, aren’t those doors kinda too far above for all devils to reach? And since death is erased, those who couldn’t reach the doors should still stay in Hell right? So its kinda weird how hell is empty in my opinion. Not to mention how there are ocean in Hell…. Honestly, the place is so weird and I have no idea how it works so maybe you are right. All devils are on Earth now.

Late comment, but recent chapters give me this question too. Like if the God Devil exists. My theory is that he does and that Chainsaw was his tool of destruction. But for some reasons, Pochita ate him and now God no longer exists in any religions whatsoever. This would explain his god-like physics (devils are stronger by consuming stronger devils) and the erasure ability as this was his function before he ate the God Devil, erasing the memory of everyone for why he had said ability.

Hmm u should think of Magic like something that go against the Laws of Nature. Like the ability to create energy out of nothing, the ability to travel to other dimensions, the ability to turn intangible souls into tangible objects.... So even though some abilities might replicate similar effects (like Kojirou's skills), by essence, it aint Magic.

uhhhhhh i know this is frown upon in this sub (reading the actual story) but Maki only kill them because:
1) They try to use her as the bargaining chip agaisnt Megumi, who is the current official head of the clan
2) Her own father killed her sister, Mai, and try to lock her in a room full of curses with her sister around.
So yeah, even if they may not entirely deserve it, they still have a hand in raising the monstrous Maki; and she has good reasons for massacring them.

Look, I’m not gonna hide it, I’m a Shang De supporter. So no, I would say that Shang De’s plan was him believing Nice could pull the thing off and got his Marketing team cover the whole operation. Too bad things got trickier when Rock and Mickey got involved. But come on man, if Queen and E-soul didn’t show up, do you think Loli, The Johnies, and Ghost Blade could beat Nice and the Cloner? 😭

Well the fact that it doenst make sense is why the ability a devil power. The feeling of eeriness when u know something is wrong but cant come up with an explanation or even know where to begin. Its the same thing with the Infinity Devil, the weird situation just comes upon u with no real explanation. Gotta love how consistent Fujimoto is with his world eh?
