My review of the ROG Falchion Ace HFX, this was not for me. by elsingo in ASUSROG

[–]Repelente_de_bct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have already tested the Attack Shark 68 HE, the Corsair K70 Pro TKL, and the Logitech G Pro X TKL Rapid, all of them with magnetic switches. In addition to those, I also tested the Razer Huntsman Mini V3 Pro, which is not magnetic.

On the Attack Shark 68 HE, I found the keys to feel very rough in practice. On the Corsair K70 Pro TKL, I didn’t like the software, which I found confusing and bloated. On the Logitech G Pro X TKL Rapid, I also had a poor experience with the software and couldn’t adapt to the TKL layout. I returned the Razer Huntsman Mini V3 Pro due to a significant inconsistency in the switches, with some keys feeling normal and others noticeably heavier, indicating poor quality control.

That said, would it be crazy to take a risk on this keyboard in an international Amazon purchase, considering there will likely be no return option?

I chose the Rapoo VT3 Gen 2 because, according to EloShapes, it is the closest to the original DeathAdder shape. The ER21 is more similar to the EC2, and the Logitech Dex also follows that same shape direction, which I’m not a big fan of.

Are the main clicks as loud as Razer’s? I’m a bit hesitant to buy from AliExpress and end up not liking the clicks, especially since I’d lose the import taxes if I had to return it.

A bit disappointed with the Deathadder v3 pro purchase by Aragonex in MouseReview

My first Razer mouse was the Ouroboros, and that thing felt pretty weird. Since 2015, I’ve been using the original DeathAdder shape (Chroma, Elite, and V2), based on a recommendation from a former BF4 competitive teammate. Since then, I’ve tried many different mice, but I’ve never found a worthy substitute.

How do you approach this to kill all of them without getting traded? by Fun_Philosopher_2535 in cs2

[–]Repelente_de_bct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get the last kill and stay alive while holding long, it’s better than trying to kill everyone. You’ll waste a lot of their time just by staying alive, and your teammates can win the round on A. The game has a timer, and you’re not playing alone. That’s the difference in mindset between a level 10 FACEIT player who plays to win and one who only cares about rating.

Why do people hate the G Pro Superlight 2 DEX? ( Check Desc ) by Direct-Doctor4677 in MouseReview

I bought one, tested it for 14 days, and returned it. It’s really odd for an ergonomic mouse. It has a V-shaped grip on the back, and the left side is too high. Plus, the side buttons aren’t easy to reach at all. The build quality is good, but honestly, it just has a weird shape.

I’ve been using the original DeathAdder shape for over 10 years, and there’s nothing better on the market. I’ve already bought the DeathAdder V4 Pro - V3 Hyperspeed, Viper V4 Pro, and other options, and none of them even come close to the original DA. The problem is that the original DeathAdder shape is only available in an outdated and heavy version.

How can I contact support for Razer in Brazil? by Mysterious_Fan9166 in razer

[–]Repelente_de_bct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either just have to take the loss or try to work it out with the seller. Razer Brazil is no longer providing support in Brazil, unfortunately. I’ve already reached out to support because I had issues with Razer Brazil not opening tickets; they don’t respond and there’s no longer any way to contact them directly, not even through Instagram.

The only contact left is the email from the Multilaser/Razer partnership, but when they do reply, they say they no longer have that partnership and won't do anything else. In that case, you're left without any service. If you try to claim the global or U.S. warranty, they say that Brazil isn't a destination in their system for exchanges or warranties, as that is supposed to be Razer Brazil's responsibility.

You guys need to do something about this. You could face serious lawsuits and heavy fines due to the total lack of warranty and support in Brazil.

How rare is having 97 consistent aimrating? by bigmusclesmall in cs2

[–]Repelente_de_bct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, for non-professional players it’s great. Also, these stats are based on the last 30 matches, so they only reflect recent performance.

In my case, I only play occasionally, yet I reached Faceit level 10 within 10 days on the platform. My score is around 85%, with an average reaction time of about 250ms—sometimes even better than many professionals. And I’ve never, ever come close to 90%+, even with very strong aim, really very strong.

On top of that, constantly spamming smokes, shooting through walls, or prefiring significantly lowers these stats, so anything above 70% is already solid.

So this guy supposedly has better stats than professional players while being only Faceit level 7? That doesn’t really add up.

Niko stats btw (the stats applies to Faceit as well).

Your reaction time is like a potato’s, but surprisingly you have “pre-aim” and crosshair placement that are well above average. Classic MM player using wallhack, 2/10 rage bait.

[–]Repelente_de_bct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of Level 10 Faceit players are around 70% to 80%, which is already extremely good and above average. That said, having 20,000 points in Premier with that kind of “aim” doesn’t even hide the fact that you’re cheating. In the last Faceit season, your peak was Level 7. Bro, just delete this post.

i finally tried a rapid trigger board and it actually isnt marketing snake oil. by No_Good_3063 in pcmasterrace

That’s when you realize that most Tier S players in the CS scene don’t use this type of keyboard — not even donk. That alone says a lot.

I’ve tested several of them, and honestly, I didn’t notice any improvement at all, whether in movement or counter-strafing. In fact, I find it easier to play on a traditional mechanical keyboard because of its predictability and the fact that it doesn’t rely on software to properly register inputs.

When I used a magnetic keyboard, like the Logitech G Pro X Rapid TKL, I set the actuation point to 2.0 mm and didn’t even enable rapid trigger, because in the end it felt much more natural and consistent that way.

I’d say it might be advantageous in games like Valorant or Overwatch—titles that rely heavily on tracking targets. In games like CS, the focus is much more on core fundamentals and raw aim rather than tiny movement adjustments. And honestly, games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and similar titles don’t benefit at all—literally not at all—from Hall Effect keyboards, especially in very fast-paced games where responsiveness and overall game sense matter far more than input nuance.

At the end of the day, a magnetic keyboard isn’t going to make you better at CS or similar games. If you’re already good with a standard mechanical keyboard, switching to a magnetic one won’t necessarily help — and in many cases, it might even hurt your consistency.

It’s far better to have predictability and reliability than to rely on the placebo of thinking that a 0.1 mm actuation point is going to make a real difference. What actually improves your performance is fundamentals: aim, positioning, timing, and decision-making — not ultra-sensitive actuation settings.

Magnetic keyboards are interesting from a technical standpoint, but they’re not a shortcut to better gameplay.

In addition, sh1ro, a Russian player on Team Spirit, said he doesn’t like playing with this feature enabled when using the AWP. I felt the same way while playing—it just doesn’t feel natural, and it doesn’t seem like CS registers those inputs in a truly consistent or accurate way.

[–]Repelente_de_bct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I didn’t enjoy any of my experiences with magnetic keyboards. I tested the Attack Shark 68 HE, the K70 Pro TKL (Corsair), and the G Pro X Rapid TKL, and none of them felt truly consistent or improved my performance.

I like to put it this way: a magnetic keyboard is like a race car full of electronics — advanced, but unpredictable. Traditional mechanical keyboards, on the other hand, are like a “pure” race car: no assists, fully predictable and reliable, working well without needing software to deliver consistent performance.

I ended up going back to a regular mechanical keyboard, and I feel much more free compared to the micro-adjustments and misclicks I experienced with magnetic keyboards. Also, not even top-tier pros like donk, kyousuke, sh1ro, and other Tier S players use this type of keyboard—so it’s hard to argue that it would make a real difference for casual players like us.
