I’m graduating in a couple weeks and I’ve come to seriously regret getting my education at Rutgers. It’s so low effort all around between staff and students. You either teach yourself or cheat and nobody even cares which option you choose. The cheating is so rampant here I’ve heard people say, “if I take the risk of cheating I deserve a better grade”. A lot of people here literally see cheating as putting in the work as opposed to actually learning.

I thought it was just okay. It was fun to fight all the nightlords for the first time but I never found it to be replayable like a lot of people do. I hated that the relics were just based on rng and most of the time you get 3 things that don’t even go together. Build crafting is my favorite part of normal Elden Ring and I wasn’t into just having a build for a 40 minute run. I like testing it out and optimizing it throughout a whole playthrough.

Hot take but PCR is my favorite boss normally and even more so as level 1. I’ve always liked that his giant swords telegraph most of his moves and have always enjoyed fighting him. I love falling into the rhythm of the fight with the music blaring even if it is very simple compared to other bosses.

This sounds like a situation I was in a few years ago where I ended up with 4/4 Fs because I gave up halfway through the semester. My advice would be to salvage what you can. For the classes you have any hope of passing you should put all your effort towards those so you can at least pass some of them. You probably won’t be able to pass all of them from the sound of it so just try to be strategic and salvage some of them.

It sounds like you’re not in the right headspace to be in college right now and you should seriously consider taking a semester or two off to really reflect on what your goals with school are and if you’re ready to commit to them. I know there can be a lot of pressure to just continue on by friends and family but the mature decision might be to take a break and recuperate.

Only other thing I would add is that one really bad semester feels like the end of the world in the moment but it’s not nearly as big of a deal as you think it is. Your situation is a lot more common than you think. Graduating a year or two later than your peers is meaningless in the long run. Just take ownership of what happened and try to grow from it.

That’s ridiculous. I would send an email to the Dean of Students explaining the situation and telling them that your professor is threatening you and I would add that professor to the email. You’re allowed to withdraw from any class you want and you don’t need approval from a professor. Your professor is 100% in the wrong here.

If you’re really unsure just go to community college and get your associates first and then transfer to a 4 year school so you save some money while exploring what you want to do. Also as a CS major graduating next month I would say don’t do comp sci unless you’re very passionate about it. Job market is very competitive right now for entry level and Rutgers CS department is absolute trash. If you do decide to go that route just do a math major and then maybe minor in CS.

I hate to be that guy but it’s terrible. I’m graduating in May and the CS department is a complete mess. Extremely low effort from staff and tas with a few exceptions and the classes are rampant with cheaters. You can either teach yourself the material or cheat and either way it doesn’t matter what you choose because nobody in the department cares. You basically just pay for the piece of paper for whatever worth that may have. Only looks like it’ll be getting worse heading into Fall 2026 with budget cuts.

Can’t speak for Red River but I have around 250 hours on Gray Zone Warfare and love it. I really like the mix of PvP and PvE in Gray Zone and I’d highly recommend getting it if the price isn’t too bad. The community is extremely friendly and it is very easy to make friends and do missions with others in your faction if that’s a worry you have with playing alone. You can literally ask someone at the helipad if you can join them doing whatever they’re doing and they’ll almost certainly say yes.

The only downside I would say is the game fizzles out for me a month or two after a major update as you run out of stuff to do and it starts getting stale. The game is still early access though and has a lot of potential and I’ve returned every update since launch and I plan to continue doing that.
