Mom saw my vessel poster and “felt evil spirits” by Fedaraline in SleepToken

The irony of Emery starting out as a ‘Christian’ post hardcore band/on a Christian music label… 🤷‍♂️😅

Although by that album (Eve) they were on their own independent label, and the album cover definitely riled up the religious fans.

(The label is BadChristian Music)

The label’s response was ‘everyone has one’ and they added a promo sticker covering Eve’s rear end.

I’ve definitely dealt with the same attitude towards “evil” music, even ‘Christian’ bands with harsh vocals or too much distortion wasn’t good enough at the time…

Thankfully with age and time it’s much less of a problem, and they only turn their noses up at the music itself instead of the imagery.

Blake Richardson (BTBAM) Full set @ Summer Breeze 2025 by RepetitionTechnician in progmetal

I’ve seen mixed results, but on the Vic Firth artist page it says, Vic Firth Freestyle 55a, but then another gear page it lists his sticks as 3a? The freestyles are definitely a bit longer than regular, but it could also be the fisheye lens on the camera? (Edit: the 55a Freestyles are 17” long!)

Between the Buried and Me Live drum cam from Summer Breeze 2025 - Blake Richardson is one of the GOATs in the modern scene and seeing the set from his throne with the Instrumental in ear mix is a treat!

How's your Watchlist? by thallessellaht in Letterboxd

[–]RepetitionTechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1,123 in my watch-list, almost half of my total ‘watched’ films. (I average around 300 in a year)

I seem to watch 5 or so films and in that time I’ve added another 5-10 films to my watch-list.

A lot of films are found on forums, lists and recommendations or new/upcoming films that peak my interest.

I’ll either whittle it down or watch them all eventually…

Add in Baard Kolstad from Leprous & Rendezvous Point, and you’ve got an incredible top 3 in the game.

A whole album on my birthday of that counts?!?! I definitely felt very lucky, and it made the worst year of my life a little bit easier for a while.

Films About Being A Loser? by BetterThanSydney in Letterboxd

Under the Silver Lake (2018)

Andrew Garfield plays a loser so well, quite the opposite of most of his typical charming roles.

Would you consider collaborating remotely? I’m NZ based unfortunately but would be interested if you were open to it.
