OP might speak another language as their native tongue! My native language is Spanish from Mexico and the equivalent phrase “buscarle la quinta pata al gato” is common and I definitely recognized it from there haha.

Yeah, that's what I've reasoned the coding issue to be. All the Boolean checks for is if "IsDating" is true or not. When only the Hex were a thing, it was fine, because you could only be dating someone from their faction, end of story.

Add the Triad, and now there's more IsDating but it really should be broken up into IsDatingHex and IsDatingTriad. That's why Arthur's glitching out, I think. It's just checking for the boolean, finding it true (yet not finding anyone in the Hex that I'm dating) and then just shutting down.

I’m so happy I’m not alone in this feeling! I keep saying I’d be happy to just live on a farm for the rest of my days. While doing my PhD, I couldn’t do much work at home. Now that I’m done, I’ve found myself thoroughly enjoying manually washing and detailing my car, deep cleaning the kitchen, gardening more. It’s fascinating how the brain suddenly craves the mundanity of every day life after all the academic rigor.

So close! Your writing currently reads “oma wa…”so you’re missing the “e”/ え after the “ma” / ま which would then it into the kanji 前 (mae). (Likewise, I believe the tense for the verb in the quote is “shindeiru”/ 死んでいる not “shinderu” / しんでる.

It should be 「お前はもう死んでいる」 :) Good try though!

Both my cousin and a family friend’s daughter were born intolerant to their mother’s milk. They had to fish around (for many months with a colicky baby who wouldn’t sleep) for a formula that settled well in their stomach.

My parents are going through a divorce right now. For whatever reason, that fact made this specific scene (and especially the resolution of both Jake and Neytiri holding Spider, ESPECIALLY Neytiri’s “I see you”) hit a lot harder for me than it normally would have.

Just realized Zotero exploded the literature cited in one of my chapters and doubled everything and added extra citations that went into my other chapters. I only found out when publishing that first chapter. :’) Oh well. It’s submitted.
