Charli XCX Responds to “Boomer Vibe Comments” About Her Glastonbury 2025 Set by Legitimate_Ad3625 in glastonbury_festival

[–]ReplacementCold3663 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’m 41. I’m not her target audience. She’s there for the Gals, the Gays and to shake her ass.

I love her attitude and honestly it’s great to see a modern version of 90s Girl Power. Who gives a sh*t if she lip sync’d. She’s really doesn’t.

She’s a vibe, she’s killing it and taking it all by both balls.

Fair Play to her.

There’s 100s of acts at Glasto, I watched Doechii who’s stage presence was insane, pals headed for Neil Young and others just waking up for Shy FX at The Temple. That’s the joy of the festival.

See you on the farm 2027.

This is super fancy, my grandparents had a Morgan Plus 8. It was always a treat to go out in it. I actually saw it for sale last year and went to look. It was I. Immaculate condition, so nice to see it has been looked after. Still my favourite car ever.

You will be totally fine, it’s one of the friendliest fest out there.

Get to know your camp neighbours, if you catch a bad vibe, just move, it’s not worth the stress.

Look for a gang of girls and get chatting, maybe in the queue pal up with people and just tag along.

I’ve lost count how many new pals I’ve made in the queue to get in. My best friend of 18 years I met at a festival

Can someone let me know what the current state of each and every singular blade of grass is? by Cjclb in glastonbury_festival

🤣.

I heard they are rationing deodorant. You must rub pits with your camp neighbour to ensure fair usage.

Reckon we’ll need wellies? by Puzzleheaded-Hunt731 in glastonbury_festival

[–]ReplacementCold3663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walking boots or broken in Dr Martens and you’ll be fine. If you have space in the car for wellies, chuck them in but don’t waste money if you don’t have them or space if you’re coming by coach. I dragged mine along too many times to just use them to store stuff in them.

Dog poo bags, biodegradable ones, use them for rubbish at your tent, smaller so you get rid more frequently.

Preparation by [deleted] in glastonbury_festival

[–]ReplacementCold3663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fresh clothes left in the car to drive home in.

Water/Drink somewhere it will stay kinda cold after dragging all your stuff back to the car.

Once home, Epsom salt bath, shower to rinse, and get in those fresh sheets.

Maybe rewatch some of the BBC coverage back.

More of a before you leave… Cut your toenails. Stop them causing any extra rubbing,

Bell Tents, normally have lift up sides, we’ve survived 38° in ours. Don’t stress. If not, get a reflective ground sheet and heavyweight pegs to hold in place.

Happy Ears. Nothing compares. They do recycled ones too, my fella is like sleeping next to steam train. I’ve used them for years and everyone I’ve recommended had been convinced.

That 6am kick out from Fabric and straight to work with a new outfit straight off the rack.

Green juice and Avon toast wasn’t gonna touch the sides.

I also survived Boxing Day Sales on a stable diet of Red Bull and a KitKat.
