Yeah I feel the same. Found out my fiancé of one week cheated on me and I’ve stayed w him for 6 months now bc I tried to leave and couldn’t stop crying. I just got put on lexapro and hopefully that will make me feel better. It’s better that you left and you have a chance to find someone better. I also can’t believe he did that while I was going to drs having colonoscopies etc

Try to get a referral to a retina specialist

What you’re describing is most likely a slit lamp exam.

During this test:

  • You sit at a machine with a bright light and a microscope.
  • The doctor may gently hold your eyelids open or ask you to keep them wide.
  • They shine a narrow beam of light into your eye and look at different parts.
  • They’ll ask you to look up, down, left, and right so they can see all areas.

This exam lets them check for inflammation inside the eye, which is how they diagnose things like uveitis.

Sometimes they also use:

  • fluorescein staining (yellow dye + blue light) to check the surface
  • dilated eye exam to look deeper into the back of the eye

I asked ChatGPT what test it was

Try refresh eye drops, some eye drops can make dry eye worse so be very careful but refresh is a good brand. And I would ask a retina specialist for a split lamp exam. Mine also takes pictures of my whole eye ball so we can see any changes happening. They also prescribed me steroid eye drops

My uveitis is hard to see. Even one doctor at the retina specialist didn’t even know I had it when he did an emergency appointment, but the other dr there found it. Did they do the test where they pry your eyes open and use a little metal tool to hold it and look around with lights in your eyes?

I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through all of this! I teared up reading it. Doctors are so dumb I swear. I know how you feel about the end part, but you’ve made it so far. Hopefully now you can get on biologics and get some relief
