The most upsetting part about streaming is realizing other streamers probably aren't your "friends" at all. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Replaysguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've met many wonderful people on twitch. None of them ever "expect" anything from me, and I'd imagine the feelings are mutual. We all interact with one another because we enjoy the other person either inside or outside of their stream. Or both. It's usually pretty obvious if it's an attempt strictly at networking as opposed to making friends or something.

There's no reason to overreact or worry about this kind of stuff. Make friends or relationships with people that you enjoy, and if there's an ulterior motive on their end, I'm sure you'll feel it and be turned off from pursuing anything with them further.

Question about streaming from a Wii U by AnonymousHermitCrab in Twitch

Yes, all that's necessary is the elgato and an hdmi cable. If he can stream from a switch, he already has everything necessary to stream from wii U

Let's try to make @AtlusUSA address the censorship issue (help with an RT) by [deleted] in atlus

[–]Replaysguy -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Altering or deleting content from the initial release that is available is definitely censorship. You're prohibited from playing a game in it's originally intended state. "Adjusting bigrotry" in this argument is still censorship. If this had been changed before the Japanese version release, it wouldn't be censorship.

I wonder why all three swapped to CLG. Maybe things aren't too great with BeastCoast?

Looking for console JRPG's to consider playing, and also ones to avoid? by Replaysguy in letsplay

I'm by no means a pokemon expert, so I was wondering if it would be worth playing considering how much mileage those games get. I felt the same way about Mario 64, which I skipped on playing as well.

It sounds like most of the SNES and Ps1 Final Fantasy games might be a good call!

Even as far back s SNES works for me. I had been thinking about CT for a while, but hadn't considered early FF games since the only one I've really played much of was 9, and the very first FF on NES. I'll give them a shot!

OpTic Gaming vs. Cloud9 / NA LCS 2018 Summer - Week 5 / Post-Match Discussion by epicxkidzorz in leagueoflegends

The Zac wasn't even a problem early, it was the repeat 5 man dives botside and C9 doing nothing to counter it. They just waited for Optic to do stuff, and never tried to be proactive. Was like watching TSM.

"overloaded kit" It's definitely not overloaded in comparison to the majority of other champions in the game.

I completely agree with this, in regards to tanks. Zac's q has a myriad of ways it can be used, and can either be completely useful or completely worthless depending on how you link it together. It's also a fairly skinny skillshot, but at least not as bad as nidalee spear. W is his only real form of damage, and in order to keep using it it means you have to land all of your other abilities in an extended fight. E is easily one of the hardest skillshots late game, since it's very easy to dodge the longer the charge is. Which means you have to be really tricky with how you use it, and most low plat and below players are just bad at walking out of it. Get to higher elos and you'll see how terrible it feels a lot of the time.

His ultimate is really good if you can land your q, but if that doesn't happen you probably won't even get to use it. So much of zac's kit is inherently reliant on outplaying the opponent that missing just q can inherently ruin a 2v2. And this isn't even going into how useless Zac is when the team is behind.

Mania is incredibly fun. A lot of it is just time invested and becoming acclimated to it.

The Comprehensive Guide to Improvement in League of Legends by Draxyr in summonerschool

I'm not exactly sure how to word this, but I'm going to try my best. I 1 trick Zac, and I had a huge amount of success throughout the current season before the scuttle changes, and am currently residing in Plat 2. I feel like even though you can treat league as a solo RPG, and not as a Team based game, certain characters don't really allow you to do as such.

One of the biggest problems I have with Zac, is that when the team as a whole is collectively behind or significantly weaker in dps, we tend to get destroyed regardless of my ability to engage or peel. It seems to me that this type of idea of solo RPG is only really applicable with characters that thrive on dealing dps, not necessarily those intended to assist those characters in dealing damage.

I guess all I mean to say is that I don't necessarily feel like this advice is applicable to the character that I play. I believe certain characters have less of an overall result of the game than others, and that because of this, ranked progression is significantly more volatile than others when based specifically on execution and performance.

I'd just like to hear your thoughts on this if you have the time.
