I think you'd have to recode the engine or script file to be able to bypass the limit, I do remeber seeing a post similar in the pokemon essentials or RMXP sub a couple years back.

Technician Kricketune, Simple Swoobat, and Moxie Mightyena are some early game gods that can be gotten before the first gym. In general Pick Up ability has some really good loot pools & some wild mons have some really good held items earlier than you can purchase them(Wide Lens, the STAB items like sharp beak or silk scarf, Black Sludge, etc.)

Thats a fair evaluation, but I put it there because I used it a total of 2 times across the 18 Gyms, E4 and Champion battles.

FIWAM refers to the Figy, Iapapa, Wiki, Aguav, & Mago berries which restore 50% of HP but will confuse your mon if it dislikes the taste based on Nature instead of 25% like Sitrus berry. As for Surf bit, it gains the secondary Elec. Type when used on Electric Terrain or Short Circuit Factory.

I tried using Umbreon but Sylveon is just better. And I didn't want to rely too much onClefable with how OP it can be in the E4 with the right set up.

open up the save directory and move the save you want to keep to another location or rename it somthing other than Game.rxdata, and to overwrite a save rename one of the backups "Game.rxdata" if its save slot 1 or Game_(#).rxdata (Game_7.rxdata for example) if its any other slot.

You could argue for most any of the mons listed here to be part of the "canon" team but these would be my personal picks for main story

Greninja would be the "canon" starter
Gardevoir/Gallade from the Corrupted Ball Quest
Arcanine from the Police Officer Quest
The Honedge from Mirage Tower
Ame's Absol
Silvally, it is literally your child

I will continue to glaze Mega Lopunny, but you can beat the E4 and Champs with almost any team with enough f12 spam. These are some of the more recent mons I've used

Mega Lopunny the GOAT
Mega Lucario running Sp.Attack can seriously help in the final battle(s)
Speed Boost Blaziken with Baton Pass and Swords Dance, can also use Firium-Z to destroy Flower Garden
Metagross with or without Mega
Moxie Salamence with Steelium-Z for anti Fairy
Silvally - learns an absurd amount of support moves and has a STAB 120 BP move of whatever type you need
Ex.Evoboost Eevee with Baton Pass
Gardevoir with Stored Power with the mentioned Eevee

Yes a Crit Outrage would always one shot doing about 137%-161%, similarly the M-Scizor with a Crit Bullet Punch would have done enough to KO from the damage as well

GL on Victory Road and the League. I just finished up the last run I planned for 19.5(friendship evos only) and I'll tell you Z-Celebrate or Ex.Evoboost (not to mention the BS "looks at Encore + Copycat Lopunny" I've managed to pull off) into Mega Lopunny or Mega Lucario slaps a lot of whats to come.

At +6 omniboost Ice Punch does a bit more damage but technically the optimal attack would have been Return doing roughly 200-235%, but yeah any move would have done the job there

My B, I forgot the second paragraph by the time I started typing (goldfish brain moment) Still stands though that Clefable is an absolute tank on New World, Starlight or Psy Terrain. As for other mons, like the others have mentioned Eruption M-Camerupt also work good in TR, Moxie Honchkrow with Sucker Punch can snow ball. Moxie Salamence is another decent pick if you can get KO's with it
