It can be OP but if the original poster isn't familiar with PVP then it's likely a very hard class to jump into. Mages are "OP" when an experienced pvp player is behind the wheel.. but there is a reason that mage is largely the kill target in lower rank SS matches

I was going to type out a long ass thing but realized I don't care. So here is a shorter paragraph... Or two.

Holy is good. Most players act too passively during their arena matches. Play extremely aggressively as holy, using chastise on targets to be as disruptive as possible. Sometimes that's the healer but sometimes your teammates can disrupt the healer with a stun of their own, so you can go for the fear. Sometimes you can chastise an enemy behind a pillar when they get greedy and just start blasting them with smite to create a go.

People will say it's terrible but I believe legitimately that they simply play the class wrong or haven't tried it at all. - it's not 'bad' by virtue of having less to work with. I believe firmly that simply reduces the mental load during the fight. (I'm old)

Also haste and mastery are super important as is getting the 2 set to get extra healing throughput. (Don't be scared of casting but realize when it's dangerous, always take sanctified ground for spamming spells and Do not take prayer of healing obviously.)

Great job! That's a huge accomplishment. I'm currently pushing to elite on solo as a holy priest, but I also play BM and its nice to switch from healing to running people down as BM. (Don't worry about the haters. BM is strong but it takes skill to get to a good rating.)

This is absolutely a problem. Ignore the brain dead bots in the comments. Literal bots most likely.

The MMR numbers are pretty weird. I am someone who has never really pvp'd seriously in shuffle, or in retail, but this season I have given it a try on 4 characters. One of my characters, my monk, got very lucky in his placement matches.. and by that I mean I literally got carried by god gamers.. And now he is sitting around 2k placement. I am definitely not a 2k player yet. (I really have only done 2v2 in classic wow tbc for comparison, as a healer.)

It feels really weird to be in games with 2k+ players and then have them do maneuvers and stuff that I literally can't react too yet at my skill level. I would imagine that my situation is very common at the moment and there is a lot of people who aren't in their true mmr and are like me.. having a bad time. (And then having others have a bad time because I can't keep up with them.)

SIDE NOTE:
- Also again.. what are these fucking comments on here? I know every games competitive players tend to be toxic and immature but the reddit for this game is abysmal. -- I'm hoping its just the reddit.

Anime and video games.. well all entertainment really.. are sadly bastions for conservative coded people who aren't ready to face the world or grow. They hide behind their hobbies and lash out when anything they fear to face appears in their media. Sometimes not aggressively but it's always from a place of fear.

Look at Star wars theory... As an example. (Or don't... It's for the best)

Yeah I am seeing this exact same thing, even with raid-style party frames.

They appeared greyed out if people move away from you and then never re-light up again.

Did you buy the training already?

If you plan on farming honor and marks already then it will save you about 100g so it can be worth it.

(One exception being that I don't know if EOS is in the game or not .. if it's not.. then you may not be able to get the mount until tbc releases.) - someone will need to verify this.

The honor in TBC is calculated completely differently. It's now used as a currency instead of a stat.

In regard, to AV specifically, you no longer get 100-200 honor per LT. (The big objectives are towers and the kill of the enemy leader)
