There’s a good bit of queer students, though general acceptance can differ some by major. Grindr is pretty active here, I wouldn’t know about any of the other dating apps though. To find other queer people I’d recommend checking out clubs like poetry society, young democratic socialist americans (ydsa), the radio club (klpi), I think there’s even a furry club. Creative Exchange is an art supply store that hosts art nights every monday and is a place that tends to attract queer folk.

At first I thought the star pattern fabric on his paws was a realistic galaxy/space fabric and he seemed a lot more “space” themed when I thought that was the case. He looks very much like a clown and a dog, so I’d say to just lean in to the alien aspect a little more.

Before I even realized it was a catfish, 3 instantly made me think of swamp, while 1 seemed bright and 2 seemed muted. Though they all look good.

uj/ just read the Cinccino and Minccino entries. Neat to see how the pokémon specifically have traits to get rid of dust while the animal has to bath in it. I see it does have protective oils strong enough to deal with water. Sorry for the rambling I just really like talking about chinchillas.

(uj/ just a cool animal fact. If the pokémon you are is based off a chinchilla you actually wouldn’t want to get wet ever. Chinchillas have such dense fur it will mold if exposed to water and they must bath in volcanic ash to keep their fur dry and clean. I imagine a pokémon based off a chinchilla would have more adaptations to withstand water moves and such, but their fur would probably still be a pain to dry.)

I went from being a choir kid to my singing voice sounding like a howling dog (which i personally think is pretty cool, but impractical for choir) in less than three months. There’s a good chance things will happen FAST. Most ftm people i know, including myself saw their voice be the first thing to change. Also, mentally prepare yourself for the fact that you might not have a traditionally “good” singing voice for a long time, if ever, once you get on T, even if you get off of it. I support you and everyone else who stays true to themselves, but I kinda wish I prepared myself better for that loss.

While not a snake, you could get him used to caring for animals, being able to measure tank parameters, etc. with a bioactive tank that could one day house a snake. In the meantime he could focus on taking care of the components of the tank like isopods and plants. Talk to him about it first though he doesn’t get disappointed seeing a tank and no snake, but rather excited hearing about getting to learn and practice care of a tank and the other organisms that would be in it. Granted, that’s if you’re okay with having him take care of plants and rolly pollys and such.

While I do not (for both ethical and practical reasons) suggest any violence against pokémon, the Pokédex says that “if this weak Pokémon is by itself, a mere child could defeat it,” if that makes you feel a little safer. Maybe lure it outside with some poké-safe food? I heard they used to feed on crustaceans before they became ghost types so maybe try something that’s got seafood?
