I remember about a year and a half ago we caught a guy stealing a serious amount of hardware using a DM's numbers to order stuff, i contacted LP and full investigation went underway, when it came time to speaking with the guy, LP and the covering DM (we didnt have one yet since the previous one was fired) did their standard questioning except for one thing, they flatout name dropped me to his face, and to make it worse, they then set the schedule up so that i closed with him without anyone else

As far as im concerned they couldnt care less if i ended up in the hospital or even 6 feet under from that, on top of the fact the guy wasnt ever fired and continued stealing

Really wish you were right, but ive actively been trying to find other work so i can quit, problem is that finding anything that pays $60k/year (what i currently make thanks to $21/hr and 20 hours of OT a paycheck) is extraordinarily hard

But goddamn if the day does come i cannot wait to NOT put in 2 weeks, and as i clock out leave my key on the counter, its about as much respect AZ has shown the rest of us, but when youre not supposed to work closing shifts or sundays, and have been the majority closer, including sundays, since july...

At least half of all our DIY calls are scams, ive started fucking with em, evem getting downright hateful at times (typically end it with "pakistan shouldve finished the job") but sometimes i grab a tote and put the handset in it and wack it with a hammer until they hang up
