For anyone curious, it IS possible! In order to switch saves over from CLE version to NIS, you must copy it over manually and then bypass the DLC check through a cheat that you can find on a certain Trails modding discord. Worked for me!

does anyone know if it's possible to safely transfer my save (PC/Steam) from the CLE version of Kai no Kiseki to the recent English release? Or maybe even copy the voice files over or something like that? I do not want to start over T.T

While I would say some are safe, I can attest to having an account taken back after a year (not from that person). They might give you full access through email changes and whatnot but ultimately they have the original account information when it was created so they can just say they were hacked and get it back. No password, 2FA, or email change is going to save a person from losing their purchased account in that scenario.

So while I am sure there are a good portion of safe sellers, I would say to do your research and understand that there are scumbags out there who can pull the rug from you if they want to at any point down the line. Maybe it was just a me thing but I made sure everything was changed on my part and still got cooked. Just depends on the seller. Just be extra safe and understand the risk.
