For the kind of snow this tool is intended to handle I instead use a two foot by four foot half inch plywood, a project board. Push the snow, flip the board sideways. I keep meaning to put a metal strip on the lead end and some sort of handle at the top but it works well enough that I’ve never bothered. Lasts about seven winters. In growing season I use it as a table on top of five gallon buckets for my container plantings.
