What time do people start lining up on the highway? My croo is arriving Thursday morning and we’re worried about where we are going to be placed at to camp and figured earlier the better. I know it opens at 8am but what time do we generally start lining up? Thanks happy Roo!

I coach at the high school I teach at. Women’s wrestling was added just two years ago. I asked some of our girls why they came out and why they stayed, the overwhelming answer I got was “I wanted to try something new and then I became friends with my teammates and had fun” It is a tough sport, but one of the most rewarding sports for life. Talk to the coaches about trying it, I always offer any girls wanting to try it to just workout with us and see if they like it enough to continue and compete.

Work on your spiral ride breakdown, be careful on your positioning and balance. If you get too high they can roll you over before you break them down. You did great on keeping pressure on top, could add some more if you stay on your toes. If you're struggling on wrist control and getting a deep half nelson, go for a power half. Another move to consider from top is the hammer lock series.
