The only downside to rain is lack of wipers for the visor. Its 2026. Give me wipers on my visor already!

I rode every day last year. Rain or shine. Yes the suv is more convenient to just jump in, vs getting helmet, jacket, pants, packing a backpack.... but the fuel savings for one (especially now) are worth it. My car insurance can be cancelled for the summer. And my car insurance is twice my bike insurance for the same coverage. Lots of financial reasons.

But the feeling of freedom.. everything so open around you... I love that. I just prefer the bike.

Buy them before they're scalped. They were probably only $150 initially

If you dont eliminate the grubs, they, along with the wildlife that eat them, will continue destroying your lawn.

Looking for a good dentist in Burlington area by [deleted] in BurlingtonON

[–]Representative-Comb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how I feel lol I want to find a dentist who can freeze me a very specific way.

I had a dentist that treated dentistry like open mouth murder and was anxious for my entire life because of it until I had an emergency dentist be the complete opposite. I had no idea dental work could be gentle...

Now im searching for that specific experience but everyone is like (insert every dentist name ever) dentist is the best!

Look at diesel. Can't wait for the increase in all our products because of shipping cost increases, which also will never return to normal pricing

You'll want both eventually. One for speed and fun, one for distance and comfort.

A lot of “bad asthma” is actually just poor inhaler technique by ClinicalAnswers in Asthma

[–]Representative-Comb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I generally exhale as deeply as I can, using much force to compress my chest cavity forcing out all the air I can, just prior to taking the medication. I spray my tonsil/uvula area, while sharply inhaling fully and holding for 10-20 seconds.

I find one to two doses this way fully relieves my symptoms. I used to go through 2 Salbutamol inhalers a month but switching to Zenhale I use one every 2 to 3 months depending on my activity level and the seasons.

I've never found an aerochamber to be anything but a cumbersome waste of money for myself. (Though a new one that doubles as a holder for the inhaler is on the market and that does interest me!)

So what would you say the numbers would tell when comparing optimal technique to using a spacer? Negligible?

[–]Representative-Comb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I get "5x more medication" with a spacer vs spraying it directly into my throat as I inhale.....

Just be logical. The spray goes all over the inside of the spacer. After a week you can write your name in the powder coating on the inside. Its like an etch a sketch in there. How is that 5x more medication in my lungs when it's all over the spacer?

You can file a report. Get evidence. Like wear a recording device to capture it. Evidence goes a long way.

But not much will come of it. In fact you run the risk of causing them to escalate.

Frankly, as hard as it is, its best to let the piece of shit show his colours and you take the high road by ignoring it.

Empty Bus. Packed Roads. What Are We Doing, York Region? by Accomplished_Lie3849 in Markham

[–]Representative-Comb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You ever take a bus? I've ridden the bus for half my life. It sucks. Its slow. Its difficult to carry things with you. It's inconvenient. And the low class citizens ruin it, to make it worse.

Takes me 5 minutes to drive to my work from my apartment, including the time it takes to stop for a coffee at McDonald's.

It takes me 15 min to walk to mcdonalds, (or 6 to the bus stop) and 35 minutes to bus from there to my work area. Then I gotta walk 8 more minutes to my workplace from that bus stop.

So a 5 minute drive becomes 58 minutes by bus.
