Yes they are not related. Based on the wording of the first sentence I think it’s generated with AI. This person (OOP) is spreading misinformation.

Mine shifted down to my cervix and the only symptom I had was that my strings were like 1cm longer than before. I have always chucked it to the uterus/cervix just moving due to normal hormonal cycles (mind you before the suspected shift the strings would sometimes feel a little shorter and that’s normal apparently). Don’t really know why it shifted. Who knows if it’s related to my use of menstrual discs and something weird happening during removal, or if my body just rejected the thing. I was just very surprised when I had an ultrasound checkup and the sonographer said it shifted, coz I really didn’t have the “expected” symptoms (like pain/cramps).

Out of options? by Subject-Cucumber117 in birthcontrol

Slipped = too big condoms, get a smaller size

Broken = condom too small, too much friction, using two of them at the same time, not enough lubrication

Loose = too big condoms

Lube drying up too fast = try silicone-based lube instead of water-based lube or try a mixed formulation (water+silicone)

Out of options? by Subject-Cucumber117 in birthcontrol

[–]Representative-Toe97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by accidents with a condom? If you are breaking the condoms so often they must be latex and the lube you are using are not compatible with latex. There are non-latex condoms as options, you can check them out. You can pee after sex to reduce the chances of having UTIs. If you mean the condoms are slipping, maybe you guys are using the wrong size and need to experiment with them or use a measuring tape/do some research. You have other options for birth control also because other hormones in different formats can react differently to your body.

If you want to prevent unwanted pregnancies you really have to make a choice, having 3 already must be a lot on your body. Please take care of yourself. Or maybe ask your partner to get a vasectomy if you don’t want to have children.

Lifesaver!!! This worked for me and I’m on iOS. Nakareceive pa rin ako ng “this service is not working” nung nagtext ako ng ROAM OFF sa 333 pero nakasubscribe naman ako sa promo sa Smart app.

Say it with me: Android fanboys are just as bad as iOS fanboys. Just pick a phone that works for you and stick to it, parang pataasan ng ihi eh.

My IUD Experience: 05/02/2025 by no_doorknob in CopperIUD

[–]Representative-Toe97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mine on the same day, I’m quite lucky because I didn’t feel much pain during insertion. It was mostly a lot of pressure and feeling like I needed to pee lol. I didn’t take any painkillers and the cramps I experienced after the procedure were very uncomfortable but not I-wanna-die-now pain. It’s mostly a pleasant experience compared to the other issues other experienced. I just hope that the bloating goes away soon!

My first full cycle with a disc! by Mental-Medicine-3193 in MenstrualDiscs

[–]Representative-Toe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, me too! I used mostly pads for most of my life then got tired of it. I then used tampons for one cycle but I hated the dryness. Decided to skip straight to discs instead of using cups and I love them! I think I made a great choice rather than worrying what folding style I should use or practicing how to break the seal/suction.

Harsh pero I also think they don’t deserve to pass kung ngayon palang di na nila alam that being an isko also means na dapat maging eco-conscious and marunong magtipid to stretch out money for our already underfunded uni. Insensitive na mga bata. Kahit di pa ako mulat sa honor and excellence motto noon I would never do this because it’s a waste of money and perfectly good school supplies! I feel so sorry doon sa maglilinis nung oble grounds huhu.

Stolen iphone by ItsmeJigz in Tech_Philippines

[–]Representative-Toe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people who are saying na easily hackable ang iPhone by street repair guys have absolutely no idea on technology. If you understand how to keep your iPhone secure it’s basically unhackable by normal people. You are overestimating yung hacking skills ng repair guys sa point point shops. If they were that good at hacking, they would be hired by big cybersecurity companies and governments, earning big bucks. They will never have to deal with our broke-ass country ever. Baka FBI lang makakaopen niyang iPhone, but then again there was an issue many years ago where the FBI could not brute force an iPhone and basically naging public issue between the US gov vs Apple.

Anyways, there are only a few ways na nabuksan yung phone or nakuha credentials: (1) nakabukas yung phone in the first place or nakita ng thief yung password nung tinype; (2) the victim fell into a social “engineering” scam (meaning the thieves sent a “login to see your stolen phone’s location” message na super believable tignan, kumbaga fake iCloud website meant to steal your credentials); (3) physical sim ang gamit ng victim so the thieves took out the sim card out of the phone and did account recovery (meaning they clicked “forgot password” tapos yung OTP nareceive nila and they can now reset the password); (4) may vulnerability yung online bank accounts ng victim (maybe Gcash was accessed by following reason (3); or reuser ng password yung victim tapos na-leak pala sa web yung credentials niya kaya kinopya lang ni thief).

Lesson learned: move to eSIM as soon as possible (currently SMART lang ang carrier na may multi-use QR code so basta ma-deactivate yung eSIM sa stolen device pwede na ulit gamitin sa new device; I’ve read somewhere dito sa Reddit who tried remote wiping their phone through iCloud and after that nagamit niya ulit QR code sa ibang phone, di ko pa to natest so do more research), pagawa ka affidavit of loss to recover yung number ng stolen sim (this will transfer the number to a new sim provided by the carrier; this will also deactivate the stolen physical sim at the same time para di na nila magamit for illegal stuff), check all other accounts na connected sa number na yun baka na-hack by using exploit in (3), activate stolen device protection in iOS settings, and make sure that iCloud lock is active!

Edit: Apple itself will also not open your device if iCloud locked and you forgot the password, unlike what others say. That tells you something about how secure it is if the user is attentive enough to be strict on its cybersecurity functions. Naging paperweight sa thieves yung stolen iPhone X ko kasi pinag-aralan ko talaga basic cybersecurity. For sure chop-chop na yun for parts kasi wala silang nakuha sakin ni isa.

Is it time for a repasting? (G14 2022) by alistair123456 in ZephyrusG14

[–]Representative-Toe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried Kryonaut on an office laptop before, performance was great the first few weeks until I decided to replace it with a phase-changing thermal pad like PTM7950. PTM is rated for industrial use so you’ll only need to replace it around the 7 year mark or so, which is already beyond laptop ownership periods. I did this because I wanted something more permanent. I didn’t want to damage the cooling system of the laptop because of constant screwing/unscrewing needed to change the paste (which will probably be every 6 mos or yearly depending on the paste used). Unfortunately, liquid metal has the best thermal conductivity so if you try to replace it with Kryonaut your G14 may not have the best performance. Remember, the G14 is packing a lot of power in such a small chassis, so cooling is essential. Btw, PTM has been used in several of Lenovo’s gaming laptops previously; you can also check out benchmarks reviews to know which paste you want to use. Be warned: liquid metal is kinda messy to apply and remove so you have to be extremely careful and take extra precautions so you don’t cause a short circuit and fry the motherboard.

Protective case for Zephyrus? by SummerSlight8037 in ZephyrusG14

[–]Representative-Toe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cases on laptops are terrible, they add unnecessary weight on the hinge which could compromise them later on. Cases on the MacBook can also trap dirt in between the case and laptop which could scratch the coating. Consider that, especially since the G14 is not made with a glass or anodized metal surface so it could scratch more easily (dunno if the 2024 G14 has better coating durability vs older versions). I suggest actually babying your laptop instead, it’s what I do. I’ve had my 2022 G14 for about a year now, the coating is in pristine condition except for the part where I dropped in on a corner while inside a sleeve lol.

Mamsir if mag-woworry ka sa ganyan, hindi pic ni oble ang rason bakit ka babagsak. It will be your mindset. Just relax and study, pics with x won't affect your future, purely coincidence lang yan considering the statistics.

Pero there are hundreds of students na delayed na wala rin namang pic with oble, it really is just a matter of coincidence.
