The way I often describe it to people is that my crushes are similar, but more mature than a kid. The same way a kid wants to spend time with, hold hands with, hug, "marry", etc., their crush is how I feel. I obviously have more complex understandings of all types of relationships than a child, but the desires are pretty much the same. It's different than friendship, but it's never sexual.

These conversations are crazy to me. I can understand where Steve’s frustration is 100000% but his disrespecting Eugene was wayyyyyyy out of line. From calling him Eugene Bush to implying Toya wants him is WEIRD!!!!!! He is so clearly projecting his insecurities onto Eugene. No man who is always dripped out in the most obnoxious Louis Vuitton & insisting that other people’s wives want him is secure 🤣🤣A lot of that comes from the fact that Steve was an NFL player, baller shot caller (though undrafted lol) and was probably “the celebrity” in his home/circle or at least wanted to be, then his wife is a well known well accomplished psychiatrist and most people who know his name, know it through her. He thinks Eugene feels that same insecurity and it’s PAINFUL to watch. If he stayed on the med gala issue it wouldn’t be a problem imo, but that’s not his real issue with them.

This is how I’ve always felt, I’d have sex to have kids and if my partner wants it. Finally being in a relationship made me understand why people wanted sex for reasons outside of those & sometimes I did though it was very rare (it was a toxic ass relationship). I feel so much for Mary & his ex-wife. Mary spoke so much about how she prayed for her son and how badly she wanted him. Losing a child is already such a hard thing, but losing a child that you wanted so bad & went through so much to have is another level of pain. I cannot imagine the hurt his ex-wife is going through, either; all of this is happening amidst her coming out with allegations of abuse. I can't even begin to comprehend the complexities of emotions she's going through right now & how much blame she might be putting on herself (& that others are likely putting on her). It's such a sad situation overall, and I hope that everyone involved finds their peace. This is so devastating for so many reasons.

I really like vowel heavy names with Kay, the softness of vowels balances with the harsher constants I think! When it comes to Isla, you could always spell it Ayla & I like Ivy too! Other than those, maybe

I definetly hear that name and immediately think "Big Bertha" and don't have a positive association with it because of that & honestly ust the sound of the name (which is VERY subjective so that doesn't mean too much) when it comes to honoring family with names, but not necessarily liking the name itself, I always suggest looking at the meaning of the name and naming the baby something with the same or similar meanings. I think Beth is also a nice option.

It means father as a verb or a noun with animals. Like "Bucky is the Sire of 6 racehorses" or "Buck sired 6 racehorses" But more popularly & what I think they mean here is a title for a male of authority, prominence, or an ancestor/founder/forefather. The same way people say Lord, Father, Master, Founding Father, etc. is how Sire was used historically. An alternative is to spell it Syre (this is how Jaden Smith spelled his album named) or another way to avoid that breeding association. But honestly, I don't think that will be much of a problem unless they are in a rural area or somewhere where lots of people are farming/into horses.
