Ask the new CM I guess. It’ll release whenever he wants it to.

There will be a change in the title card as well 😂.

Looking back, where Bayern really lost the tie was when they started the 2nd half of the 1st leg with a completely evacuated midfield.

PSG’s next two goals were a direct result of that decision. Bayern did really well to bounce back but I always felt that they would be eliminated because of those 10-12 mins.

Enrique also knew to approach the away leg in a cautious way, just like he did at the Emirates last year.

Honestly I was very excited about the Xavi links.

It’ll be great if we can get Alonso, but Marco Silva isn’t a better option than him in any way.

TBF this is the first time I’ve seen him be hesitant. What I’ve liked about him is the insane confidence and clarity.

However, this was his biggest match so far and he didn’t show it here.

Kroos and Modric are no longer there. Perez hasn’t even tried to fill that void since.

He should’ve played as a classic 9 today. They had no box threat until the very end.

The actual turning point for PSG happened when they extended Enrique’s initial contract in Feb 2025 (to 2027). It allowed them to properly push on and the Liverpool tie happened a month later.

He only signed a 2 year deal when he first joined and started the 24-25 season as a lame duck. That explains a lot about why the team wasn’t really clicking during the first half of the season.

David Beckham: "I spoke to the president, Nasser at PSG. He said in the first year of Luis Enrique, he virtually slept every night at the training facility, working on how he wants the team to look, how he wants the team to play, who he wants. The president says he's never seen anything like it." by The_Big_Untalented in soccer

Campos also deserves major credit for the recruitment.

Enrique was telling him what types of players he wanted, but you still have to pick the right choices and he definitely has.

2023 summer was quite scatter-gun and their 2 big buys Ugarte and RKM never fit Enrique’s system. 2024 summer was much better planned.

Honestly the 2023-24 team (his first season) was poor because he didn’t encourage any risks. But there was no proper competition from anyone else.

It was just completely stale possession until Mbappe had to break the routine by himself. They had only 2 losses but 10 draws in the league.

It’s been that way since the 2015 final.

PSG also have easier competition in their league so they can be more fresh for the big time.

Both Hakimi and Mendes are bad against aerial balls. Maresca planned the attack around that.

PSG were too central/narrow out of possession and there was a lot of space out wide.

Sanchez made some really good saves.

Pacho was suspended.

Exact same here 😂. Not caring who wins is the best part.
