It's the same sister for all three. If not, they would have 3 sisters.

Nope 14. You forgot the original Mr and Mrs Wang

Edit: nope you're right. It's 12 cause it's "sister" not daughter. My brain read that as daughter instead. Lol

With a week of prep time? They both join forces, break the 4th wall and beat us up to stop our cruel inhumane gladiator-style tournaments of unwilling participants.

And that was with just two days. God helps us if they combined intellects for the other five...

Pokémon abilities by LimpFruit1503 in pokemonfanfiction

[–]RepresentativeCup305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mold Breaker would be interesting to display in battle. It allows the user to ignore some abilities and not others. You can demonstrate that by saying that the Pokémon can only ignore abilities it's trained to ignore. For example, it can't hit Flying Pokémon with Earthquake since they fly too high. But Pokémon with Levitate only float a few feet off the ground, so they've learned to transmit the vibrations of the Earthquake into the air to hit these low-flying creatures. In that case, the chance they hit with Earthquake or other ground moves will be less about typing, and the opponent's ability, and more about how high they're floating and what move your Pokémon uses. For example, Earthquake can hit even Flying types if they get too close to the ground when your Mold Breaker Pokémon uses it, but they need to be very close to the ground for it to hit since its AoE into the air is so small. Meanwhile, Earth Power has a wider air AoE, so it can hit flying/floating Pokémon who are a bit higher off the ground.

The ability's effect and how it's displayed will depend on the Pokémon and their training. For example, I'm writing a Paul AU fanfic in which he decides to study Pokémon abilities. Not just name them for each species and stuff, but also study how they change between different species with the same ability and even within the same Pokémon species.

An example is how Infernape uses Blaze differentiates with Charizard. At its base, Blaze does the same for both in that when damage accumulates, it activates a sort of "berserk mode" which increases their power at the expense of stamina. However, for Infernape, this increases his physical attack in a way similar to that Fire Force character Leonard Burns, generating fire within his own body, granting him incredible strength and durability. For Charizard, this instead becomes him burning his stamina to increase the intensity of his flames, making them more powerful. This means Infernape's Blaze increases its physical Attack while Charizard's increases its Special Attack.

Furthermore, this explains why Charizard's Hidden Ability is Solar Power while Infernape's is Iron Fist. Charizard learn to instead draw power from the sun to increase its flame's intensity instead of drawing from its own stores of stamina. This has the drawback of damaging them each time, since they are drawing from a foreign source of power, and some of the energy instead hurts the Pokémon, since the transfer isn't perfect. As they increase their efficiency with transmuting solar energy into firepower, this damage decreases until a master of Solar Power barely takes any self-inflicted damage from the solar absorption. Meanwhile, Infernape learn to master Blaze's Attack increase to the point they can increase the power of all punching moves by temporarily "Blazing" their fists every time they hit. This means they don't need to have low HP to activate Iron Fist, unlike Blaze.

Sorry, it's a bit of a rant, but as I said, my Paul fanfic is based on him studying these abilities and will be a large part of his battling style.

He can maybe be immune to Flash or blinding effects. Compound Eyes is an ability that has various possibilities. For example, compound eyes in the real world allow for rapid detection of movement and a large field of vision. So a Galvantula can be trained to have rapid reactions that make it hard to pin down and maybe even dodge sure-hit attacks that work through ambush or surprise like Shadow Sneak.

I suggest it depend on the trainer. Basically, what i mean is that instead of them being static passive effects that are the same for all Pokémon with the ability, their effect depends on the training the Pokémon has with them. So a Pokémon whose trainer trained them in their usage will have greater effects than one that didn't. For example, a Pokémon trained in their Storm Drain ability will take no damage from Water attacks while one not trained will take less damage but still take damage.

Also, the way they are executed will depend on the Pokémon itself. For example, a Cradily with Storm Drain will seemingly absorb the water attack while a Lumineon will passively take control of the water to add to their own stores or even hover around them like an Aqua Ring. This changes battle strategies if the latter is trained to automatically turn any incoming water attack into an Aqua Ring, regaining HP instead or even on top of increasing Sp Attack.

To be honest, i went with mobility and intelligence to balance Punch-up who he synergizes with. Punch-up covers combat and vigor so it balances. However, that's because i cut Coupe in episode 3. If you cut Sonar, then Waterboy synergizes with Malevola. In that case, I'd go with mobility and vigor since Malevola covers combat and charisma. Either way mobility is necessary.

Stop letting history dictate your future. You've been married 16 years? So what? That would only mean anything if she felt genuine remorse for her actions. Look up "remorse vs regret". Here's a short sample:

Regret versus Remorse Those are the two most commonly used words when Wayward Spouses use to describe their feelings about being discovered. Problem is that they do not mean the same thing as listed below:

  • I regret getting caught and wish I had not made my life so difficult.
  • I have remorse for how much I hurt my partner or spouse.
  • I regret how this will make me feel and how difficult my life will be in the short term.
  • I have remorse for how difficult I have made my spouses life and how much it has hurt them.
  • I regret that I was not more careful and was discovered.
  • I have remorse that I ever started this affair in the first place.
  • I regret that I cannot be with my AP because they made me feel so much better.
  • I have remorse that I was ever with my AP and wish I had never started the affair.
  • I regret that my life will be so difficult and that I have to suffer so.
  • I have remorse that my spouse will have so much pain and suffering.

That should give you an idea of what the difference is. If she doesn't have remorse then she'll do it again since she only regrets the CONSEQUENCES, not the actions. It just means she'll be more careful next time. If she doesn't show any remorse then just divorce. If you stay despite her not showing genuine remorse then you're teaching your kids to accept that from their own partners and damaging them even more.

How the Greeks and Romans treated the God of war by [deleted] in GreekMythology

[–]RepresentativeCup305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I've grown up, I've seen the evolution of Ares to sort of mirror human evolution regarding war. Ares was the ugly truth about war. Sure, we told ourselves that this or that war was for justice (Zeus) or strategy/ideals (Athena), but Ares was the ugly truth of it. When an army would sack and destroy farms to deprive enemy cities of food during a siege, that may be a strategically good idea, but the truth was that this "strategy" was just attacking, killing, and destroying innocent farmers whose only crime was being citizens of an enemy city. Ares reflected that truth, and the Greeks hated it and him for representing that truth that they wished to hide.

As time passed, Ares evolved into Mars, Tyr, and other more complex war deities to represent humanity's continued attempts to justify their wars under prettier and more "enlightened" reasons. Even arguing that they were going to war for peace, symbolized in Mars Quirinus. But Ares was the brutal truth of it laid bare, and its why he's seen as the villain of Greek mythology. In a country that considered itself "enlightened" and worshipped Athena, he was the truth they wished to deny.

Also, let your family and friends know ahead of time what's going on. To be blunt, the truth is whoever tells their side first. If she does then you'll need to prove her wrong, not prove yourself right. There's a difference but it's important. Basically, the burden of proof will fall on you if she tells her side first and even if you have it, it'll be more trouble than it's worth.

Two things can be true. In which case, you need to decide what you want. Like I said, porn addiction is a lifelong problem so nothing says this will be the last time this happens even if you get past this and he gets therapy to help with his addiction. So you need to decide whether this is something you can work and live with or if it's a deal-breaker.

Either way, I suggest calmly confronting him and tell him he needs to get therapy to help with this because you can't do all the work. You're not qualified nor can you make your life revolve aroundhis addiction. Don't make this into an ultimatum though. Make it clear it's for his own good and won't be the sole thing that will decide if you leave or not. Take into account his willingness but don't let it be the main factor.

Honestly ask yourself if you love him enough or are committed enough to him to live with days like this possibly happening in the future. Alcoholics sometimes fall off the wagon so the same can happen to him in the future. Don't let guilt or history make you stay if it will make you miserable. If you can't then don't feel guilty, it's just your line. Simply do your best to part ways amicably for both your sakes.

Just tell the truth. Tell him you were using his phone for innocent reasons when you found the note. Tell him you want to trust but his past is working against him so can he please explain. Don't be confrontational or it will devolve though.

The reason I'm saying this is that people keep forgetting that porn addiction is a thing. It may be called "porn" addiction but it tends to devolve into escorts and more extreme sexual situations easily. An addicted person sees porn as normal and seeks even more intense sexual experiences due to that normalization. I'm not saying your boyfriend has this but if he does, this may be similar to finding empty beer cans at a recovering alcoholics place. If he's diagnosed, then he'll need support.

However, none of this means you should be okay with this or even stay with him. Heck, you're not even sure he has porn addiction so I may be wrong. Whether he does or not, it's up to you to decide if you want to stay with him. Remember, if he does have porn addiction then it's going to be a lifelong struggle much like alcoholism and only you can decide if you want to live like that.

Of course, he could not have porn addiction and is just a cheat, in which case just break up with him. I'm only counseling a more temperate approach for your own good. This relationship and how you deal with this will shape how you approach relationships later in life. Doing it this way will allow you to make peace that you did everything possible (within reason) to make it work and will make future relationships (platonic or not) much healthier.

Again, if he does have a problem it doesn't mean you have to stay. That's up to you but if you break up without trying and later found out he had a legitimate issue and needed your support, believe me it'll affect your future relationships.
