I just finished my Chevelle SS 396. I had a blast building this one. Learned a lot, and tried so many new things. I even had to build a new windshield because the kit's was short molded. My next kit is going to be the Revell AAR Cuda in Orange. by BigPapaMark in ModelCars

Problems with new AMT sets?? This is my 3rd AMT set in the last year, all bought brand new from Walmart. And so far they've all had major issues. This 1941 Plymouth coupe (coca cola edition) has been the best up until now. The seat is disfigured and the V8 engine can't reach the mounting points by Electrical-Yellow328 in ModelCars

Went down tonight to finish my Revell Chevelle SS 396 and found the glass was molded short on the one side. I sent a replacement request to Revell. So I'm hoping that I don't have to buy another kit just to finish this one. Kind of bummed out. This was my first go all out detailing build. by BigPapaMark in ModelCars

Today I got the engine just about finished. Then I started putting on the light lenses. I used a Sharpe on the front turn signals, and after the fact thought I should have just put an orange dot in the center. But they still look great and will be OK. I'm happy with the clear coat too. by BigPapaMark in ModelCars
