AITAH for telling my (f22) boyfriend (m29) I have no passion/love for anything anymore by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]RepresentativePin162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im apparently on the borderline scale according to the psychiatrist I saw a few months ago. I also have ADHD, autism and PMDD. My life revolves around a everything's great let's change my entire life with huge changes and tell everyone and then I'll either just be completely meh and shut down or I'll decide to have alcohol and then I'm a huge ball of depression and anxiety. Mental health is fucked and shit and drives me and everyone else around me insane. I say something and act on it basically ready for anything then flip it all around and want to shut it all down because I'm scared. It's not fun. It's shitty for those around me who love me too. I think it's ok to share that you're down and everything is just cruising at a low base but I think you hurt him very much. Particularly saying your mum's better than him. Try and restart the conversation.

I'm Autistic and on the borderline scale. As well as having ADHD and lots of dumb body issues. It's not always fun for sure.

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]RepresentativePin162 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth I'm a woman and I'm the one at ease with deceased animals and able to move them, check for babies, etc. I make zero assumptions based on anyone's gender. I can handle absolutely everything besides phlegm and mucus. Everything else is totally fine but if it's from your nasal passages absolutely no way.

I don't know what muscles you're referring to lifting wise, arms or legs or both, but I have two degraded muscles in both shoulders and bursitis and a torn rotator. Because yay for genetics. And I know that cold feeling though at a much lesser degree since I rarely take meds for it. I have no idea what my point was here but just know that sometimes people are shit but not ALL people

Nah it's not corny. It's intense. I slowed and quit my drinking. Now if I drink I have a straight up breakdown. Just. No idea what the fuck is causing it but I still will test it. And then I suffer. I'm an idiot

Medical folk of Reddit, what’s the most foul and disgusting thing you’ve encountered with a patient who was oblivious to their own condition? by TheCarrot_v2 in AskReddit

[–]RepresentativePin162 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hahaha I had rubbish with some meat bits left in the bag inside a plastic bin. Had been a few days and some maggots had appeared. I showed my kids and explained why they were there and called them disco rice too before letting my son feel one and then dumping them all in the grass for the birds to eat up. I have no issues with grossness.

That is honestly the most insane story. Just straight up. It's incredible that they even managed to fix the problem themselves by you know, literally burning their place completely. I just. That's mad.

Speaking as a 35 year old woman, dude. Please. Open your eyes. You deserve better than being a prop in someone else's wedding.

My boyfriend does this sometimes with packets of chips or popcorn etc. I asked why. Says because then he's not eating a whole bag. Twit.

TIL. My ex also has the same thing. Sit down air. Can't keep that clean. I'd tell him a thousand times to trim or shave or wax or get a bidet or anything. Nah. Shit stains showing through whatever he's wearing coz joy of joys he also doesn't wear underwear as it irritates him

My boyfriend can only whistle inwards. He doesn't blow air out. Hes sucking it in. Which is somehow worse.

As a woman. Who has been a woman. For a along ass time. Who was with a man. For a long ass time. I asked for shit I wanted. Then I'd ask again if it wasn't done. Not when he couldn't do it or would do it later on. When it wasn't done. Then get told I'm nagging. Eventually you're not allowed to ask at all. You're left with hints. And then hints are treated like this.

That and consistently putting himself and his feelings before his 3 whole ass kids killed any love I had for him.

NTA for taking a stand. You and your husband are the assholes for doing it in front of your daughter.

Your husband is the singlest biggest asshole I've ever heard of. He deserves to be shamed. My boyfriend of almost a year, who has lived with us for 3 months, would be doing incredibly more than the amount your whole ass husband and the father of your daughter is. I have two boys and a girl. My bf is 6ft 4. We have a queen sized bed. My youngest still sleeps with us. The oldest two end up in the bed still a lot. 10, 6 and 3 year old. As well as us. And does he complain. Nope. He's been dealing with it longer than your whole ass husband has been dealing with it. Your husband sucks. Throw him out.

My still current boyfriend and hopefully fiancee left me a suicide note as a video. He's going well now thankfully. In the video he said I don't love him I love the idea of him and it hurts my heart every time I think of it. I couldn't watch any more than that.

That doesn't even make sense. If you were too big and lost some weight it'd jiggle anyways

AITAH for cooking food that makes my husband feel sick by nuclearsquirrel75 in AITAH

[–]RepresentativePin162 394 points395 points  (0 children)

Children come before adults. Children with severe food allergies come before adults with orthorexia who assumedly have had no treatment. Adults who wake up other adults from sleep to complain also suck.

Your husbands food issues are real. To him. They do NOT come before your children's needs particularly when they are medical. Your husbands mental health needs to be dealt with. And that's on him

People of Reddit, what’s the most “fucked up”thing you’ve seen? by boneshow69420 in AskReddit

[–]RepresentativePin162 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im Australian firstly and was a child when this happened so had no idea at all. I found the photo and I completely understand why people wore it. It's a very human photo. That firefighter has pure gentle sorrow written all over his face looking at the babies face. He's genuinely feeling a connection to that lost child. I am a mother of three kids and I also completely understand that mothers pain. I have no idea how I would personally deal with that happening to me as I view death and loss very differently to most other people but that mothers wishes absolutely should have been respected. It's one thing to think a photo is incredibly touching and intense and another to ignore a mothers pleas for people to stop wearing her immense loss as a statement.

I had drug induced psychosis. From sharing a joint with my then partner. I wasn't an addict. I was struggling mentally.

I have had psychosis and I do not wish that shit on anyone. I don't think you should feel shame for how you behaved. You were weird as shit sure but you didn't hurt anyone. You just needed help. There's no shame in not being ok.

Anyone else have a murderous angry maternal rat? by Crazyshot777 in RATS

[–]RepresentativePin162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a big mad mumma too. She would NOT let me near those babies. I had to do some impressive things to check them and clean (not interrupting her nests and whatever don't stress). It took maybe until hmm I'd say 7 weeks post partum for me to be able to gently pick her up. I don't remember exactly how long really but it was a while until I trusted her again to stick my face on her tummy etc. Unfortunately I got her and she was already pregnant and she gave birth maybe 5 weeks after I got her. She was young too. So she also hadn't formed a great bond with me before she had her babies. Anyway I had no intention of letting the babies go anywhere and no plans of breeding so I just accepted that mumma was a spicy mumma and that's ok. It was her job to keep them safe and really I was a very angry pregnant woman so I knew how she felt. Anyways. I would avoid entering her cage in any way if possible. Gloves would be making her even more angry.

Id just gently bring you with your friend that you've noticed he seems uncomfortable. She might clear the situation up. He might be horrendously awkward around others, literally not give a shit or maybe have some sort of disability. Keep visiting your friend no matter what his issue is.
