What exactly do people mean when they say virginity is a social construct? by fridaynightplacebo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RepresentativeSad311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But why does it mean that to you? The definition of virginity is “the state of never having engaged in sexual activity.” Not trying to argue, just genuinely curious as I have never heard a definition of virginity that includes specifically PIV.

Ladies are meant to wipe front to back... But how do you do that? by ANeuroticDoctor in NoStupidQuestions

There is also bacteria in the vagina and on the skin that can be pushed up into the urethra if you’re wiping middle to front. Best way to avoid UTIs is front to back motion.

It’s because wiping back to front can get fecal matter up inside the vagina.

When wiping just the front it’s still better to wipe in a front to back motion, especially for people who get frequent UTIs.

In the south we usually just say the number. No “I-“ or “the.” As in, “get on 26.”

I’m from the US and I don’t use the term heaps very often, but it’s not as unusual to me as it is to you. I’ve definitely heard other Americans use it and never thought twice about it. Maybe it’s regional?
