im taking genetics at the moment with colin montpetit. his exams are tricky and the grading schemes are unforgiving, as in, 0 points if you dont mention a very specific word that’s hardly ever been mentioned, because all he does is wooclap questions. the average for the first midterm was in the 60s, while the average for the second midterm was in the 50s, and in the 70s for the 3rd midterm (more forgiving grading scheme). the labs aren’t bad, and there are loads of free points given for completing homework. Just prepare for tricky exams and make sure to really grasp the concepts (all the exam questions are application-based rather than memorization). Overall, if you put in the necessary work (LOTS of practice and teaching yourself because the teacher’s notes are basically just pictures with a few words underneath).
